Super sleek, spacious and clean home for our family to stay near our son and his family as we gathered for a family celebration at a local restaurant. The living room and dining table were very comfortable for visiting. Kitchen wasn’t used for much cooking for our group but the pantry was good sized for a group needing space for food/snacks. It was so nice to find a place so close to our son as it saved a lot of time not having to drive to a hotel.

Beautiful home.. but don’t expect communication
I wish I could give this a 5 star rating.. I’m only giving it 2 because the home itself is beautiful. The host was where the issue is. I was over an hour late checking in because no code was provided and the host would not answer any calls or texts all day. I reached out in the morning to let her know the app they require to check in wasn’t working.. got there, tried it again and it still wouldn’t work. It caused me to be almost 2 hours late to a work meeting. Once she finally replied she said “my bad my phone wasn’t ringing”… all day? For hours?
She watches the cameras though. Convenient she can watch them but not answer her phone for check in. I have a service dog that rather than ask if it was, all I got was a text saying “I see you have a dog, I’m going to have to reach out to management about a fee”.. to which I informed her I would provide paperwork for her service registration..
Later in the week I asked about adding an additional day due to needing to stay in town longer.. my message was never replied to. So I left early and had to find somewhere else to stay.
Hopefully she can figure out how to properly run a VRBO.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review of your stay at our VRBO property about 3 months ago. We're glad to hear that you found the home itself beautiful; however, we deeply regret the inconveniences you experienced during your stay.
As some time has passed, I also wanted to briefly recant the day, as you are our first guest to let us know of feedback that has been less than a 5.
On the day of your check-in June 25, you texted us at 7:56 am to let us know if you can check in at 2 pm, since you had a meeting downtown, in person, at 3 pm. We informed you that as per check in instructions , check- in is 3 pm, and we can try to accommodate only when our cleaning team is able to confirm that the room would be ready. You texted again at 2:20pm , letting us know that you are now 45 minutes away and asked if the jervis app to let you into the garage needed a phone number because it wouldn't let you log into the app. There a lapse in we getting to you for about 45 minutes. We spoke on the phone and forwarded to you the front door AND garage code. We stayed with you on the phone until you got in and provided the details on how to get in with the garage app as well. You were in the house at 3:15pm unloading your vehicle.
We sincerely apologize for the issues you encountered during the check-in process. We understand that your time is valuable, and we should have provided a smoother and more responsive experience.
Regarding your service dog, we noted a dog on the premises, for which we did not have any information about. This was brought to your attention & you then stated that she was a legal service animal and provided paperwork, only after it was discussed of the pet fee, as our booking instruction does say no pets. We do not have an issue with service animals. However, it requires proper cleaning outside of our normal routine to get the home back the way it was before one checks in.
You had asked for an extension for one more night on the 28th of June. We also apologize for not responding to your request to extend your stay, however we could not have honored the request as we had another guest coming right after you.
We understand that this was a significant inconvenience, and we should have communicated better.
Your feedback is essential to us, and we are committed to improving our services to ensure a better experience for future guests. We have taken your comments seriously and will use them as an opportunity to enhance our VRBO hosting practices.
