Little Piece of History

I cannot recommend this place enough if you truly want to relax and step back in time to stay at “grandma’s house.” The communication with the owner was magnificent!! She wanted to make sure everything was perfect!! Some highlights: excellent water temperature and pressure in the shower; wake and to see and hear cows mooing; quiet; VERY close to Jacksboro….. We would stay again!!!

We stayed at this property because we were running a trail race at Fort Richardson State Park and it was near by! The house is an older farm house set in a peaceful open pasture! Our stay was great! It was peaceful and relaxing! We brought our own food and cooked our meals here as well. The house was extremely clean and although we typically bring everything we need the house was stocked with all the things one could need during their stay! We slept in the master bedroom and the mattress was comfortable! The host was very friendly and accessible if needed! We had a great weekend and enjoyed our stay! I would book again!
