Comfortable stay

Check in was smooth and there was sufficient parking. The house was nice with good amenities. It is old and creaky with lots of stairs, which we did not mind, but others might.

It is an older home. We were only there for less than 24 hours. I guess I didn’t realize it was 3 stories. Maybe I didn’t read that part. The beds were nice and the bathroom and kitchen looks like they have been recently remodeled. I don’t have much more to say. It was okay. Not great. I’m afraid I’d not stay there again.

Wonderful Stay

Making a cross country trip to Montana from Vermont and it was a nice place to crash for a night. Plenty of linens and towels for all guests.

Nice for an overnight stay

Overall, it was good. Needed more towels. The heat was insufficient. The heating system ( radiator system) & heat function on the window units)didn't work. Great for an overnight stay. Beds were generally comfortable. The mirror in upstaits bathroom is marvelous!

Perfect stay

This property was perfect for our group of six for an overnight stay. Check in process was easy. There was a cute coffee shop within walking distance and Progressive Field was a short Uber away.

Very nice property and host

We stayed here for Christmas week. The house is a nice cozy and beautifully decorated place. Its a duplex and the walls are a bit thin but the neighbor was so accepting because Christmas eve we were quite loud. My favorite thing was actually the property host. Steve was super kind and cool and responded to every question. I'm local so the location was good in case i had to run home for something. Overall we had a great time.

More space than you need

Perfect place for our crazy weekend of a family wedding. Plenty of rooms for all. Very clean and close to the required spots. The Christmas Story house was a major one. Tiny issue that was quickly handled by the host.

It was a good stay. The property was very clean. Beds were comfortable and bath rooms were updated compare to the rest of property. Some home improvement is needed especially the ceilings.

Good location for us

We were in Cleveland for a concert at Cain park, and this location was excellent- close enough for an easy walk. The house was comfortable and appointed with all the basics. It is an older house, so expect some creaking floors and interesting aspects. I loved having morning coffee on the upstairs back deck in the morning. We would stay there again!

Great place in a decent area

Nice and clean. Spacious. Kitchen well equipped, even had ground coffee. Place has character you'd expect from a century home, which for us added charm.

Nice place

We were very comfortable at this house. It was an older building but the owners did well with updates to make it nice. It is 3 floors and all the bedrooms and bathrooms are upstairs as well as the entrance has stairs. Which is fine for us but anyone who can’t do stairs may need to look elsewhere. It had everything we needed. Beds and furniture were clean and comfortable. Fridge and stove and wall AC all worked well. Our favorite part of the stay was the surprise we found in the back!! 6 deer! They sleep in the field next to the house but are in the back during the day. Bring some apples. We cut up a few and through them out to the deer, we really enjoyed that. Our stay was for the Cleavland Clinic so we didn’t venture to any surrounding restaurants or stores. The clinic is only about 12 minutes away. I would definitely like to stay again when we return to the area.

Owner was rude when we said we didn’t feel safe. We didn’t stay and got a hotel instead.

Beware! Owner rude! 3 stories and 1st bathroom is on 2nd floor with no railing at the top of the curved staircase. Bottom step has crack lengthwise and we tripped over it a couple of times. Windows were cracked open in most rooms. Patio door on 2nd floor (which had marks like it had been kicked in) was not shut all the way. Finally realized it had a sliding lock at the bottom of door. We arrived around 10:30pm and house was freezing. Set at 62 degrees. It took 45 min before the heat even kicked on. Stairs up to front door were slick and it was raining. We called owner no answer left voice mail. Called VRBO help line and they were able to get ahold of the owner. We told him our concerns, as we were all over 60 yrs old and have bad knees, and he said we were not telling the truth! Basically calling us liars. We took pics and a video and will file a claim.
