Terrible Experiance

The Host double booked by mistake. I didn't know about this until the day we were leaving. Fortunatly I had not left home yet. The host only checked VRBO messages every other day and did not have a working phone number. The host then claimed that they could not issue a refund on their end due to VRBO's site. After two days, multiple messages, and advising the host that I would dispute to charge with Visa to get my money back, the host finally canceled the booking and refunded my payment. The host ruined my vacation, failed to communicate, and attempted not to refund my money. The host appoligized for the double booking but ignored me when I confronted them about no working number and not checking messages. We stayed home. Terrible experience. I would avoid this host in the future.
