Great location for access to the lake!

This cabin was so accommodating and such a short distance from the lake, great for camping, boating, and a peaceful getaway.

Beautiful Cabin Get-away

My Family and I loved our stay here!! We are from Florida and don’t get out north much, so this was a real treat for us. Highly recommend this place for family get aways. The owner is named Susan; super sweet lady. The cabin has beautiful scenery, surrounded by mountains, hiking trails everywhere, and it’s right near a huge lake that you can walk to and swim/kayak in. If you need an escape, go here. Just wonderful experience.

Beautiful cabin

We truly enjoyed our stay in your cabin. The proximity to the dock was great. The cabin was well supplied with all the essentials (except there were no dishwasher pods). Although Wi-Fi would have been nice, it was great to have the family unplugged. You might consider adding movies for preteens and sport themed movies.

Stay

Neighbour were a nuisance, using jigsaw the entire time we were there to cut down trees, way too far out from any decent town, no wi-fi and not near any amenity. Patio had hornets nests everywhere, so between that and the noise next store, we were forced inside to watch old DVDs.

Thanksgiving at Cabin in the woods

Beautiful cabin with lots of space and things to do inside. The kitchen had most everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner. We had a great time despite the negatives. Negatives: No contact from property manager even after trying to contact them several times. Outdoor trash cans full when we arrived and only two towels supplied for a party of 6 adults/3 kids. No access to the washer/dryer in the cabin.

Wonderful Family Weekend Get-Away

This beautiful cabin looks brand new and gave us the privacy we were looking for. It sits off the main drive in a private wooded lot and is about 3/4 of a mile away from the lake. We enjoy walking our dogs in the morning on the fairly private road. We also had a blast on which seemed to be a fairly private beach area on the lake, kayaking, swimming, and letting our dogs swim as well. When it started to rain, there is so much to do inside the cabin. We played pool, ping-pong, did a 500 piece puzzle and watched a movie to relax. We only had one full day there, but it felt like two days in one. Would highly recommend staying at this cabin. Note: would be best to have a truck to take the kayaks to and from the lake.

Good cabin for a variety of ages

The stay at this cabin in Jabez was good. It looks like the owners are grandparents who have laid out the home so that their children and grandchildren can stay with them. There is a bedroom and full bath on the first floor as you walk in the door. The bathroom is accessible, which is a plus. Also on the first floor is a well equipped kitchen, family room and dining area. The kitchen is not decorated for those who want a high end kitchen. The cabinets are an older, inexpensive look mixed with raw open fronted wood. The dining table seats 6 and is well used. The upstairs has a bathroom with a shower, two bigger beds (full/queen?) and a twin bed plus a trundle. The decor is mainly geared toward children. I didn't spend much time downstairs, as it is geared toward teens and older. There is a tv (no wifi), several game tables, and a bedroom. The guys enjoyed hanging out down there together, but missed the wifi. I was a bit concerned that there were 3 beer bottles in the area that they would be using. Outside there is a wrap-around deck. On it is a patio table and a seating area in back. They are not expensive sets and we had to clean the patio table before using it because it was filthy. There is also a firepit, but you need to bring your own seating because none is provided.
