Absolutely Wonderful Experience

From the beautiful location to the supurb hosts, we were impressed with it all! The property and tents were immaculately kept, breakfasts were wonderful, the waterfront access was enjoyable, and the experience was beyond what we expected. It's a great place for a family vacation or a romantic getaway. We will absolutely be back!

Perfect location for kayaking the Hiwassee River!

Will return & glamp again! Make sure you follow the directions that get emailed to you, as there is no cell service. The driveway is somewhat hidden, so you'll have to pay close attention. It is a gravel single lane road. Take the first left (directions say go left on another gravel road, but it's actually concrete in the beginning that turns to gravel. This is a very bumpy gravel road. I would recommend a truck or an SUV. Maybe some cars could make it but might find it challenging. The owners living here are so very nice and accommodating. They really go out of their way to cater to your every need. Check in was simple. Was happy to have full cell service once we arrived. The property is beautiful, right along the banks of the Hiwassee River. The yurts are each nicely done. Having the AC was so nice on this hot August day. Had a nice fire and a relaxing soak in the inflatable hot tub. It was very clean. The yurts were very clean. There were other guests in another yurt so we weren't sure how private it would be but they're all facing away from each other, so that was nice. The kitchen area & bathroom were shared, but we didn't mind that at all. The bathroom was very clean. The hosts had fresh baked muffins and other snacks for us. The little kitchen area has a fridge with complimentary water & creamer/milk. There were multiple coffee/tea choices. Breakfast was scrumptious! I didn't care for the inflatable mattress, but the host is changing that. We liked the cats onsite!

Not what we expected

The set-up was in residence backyard. That was not disclosed in description that we would be inside their residence for bathroom facilities. This made my children a bit nervous. We had a 4 day reservation but decided to vacate after 1st night.
