Why they chose this property
Our building is located in downtown, historic Elkader. A small community with unique shops and restaurants. The historic Opera House has been restored and hosts touring performers, local performances and professional plays and musicals. Many trails, along with County, State and National Parks are located within a short drive of Elkader.
What makes this property unique
We are the second owner/operators of this 130+ year old building. The building was originally a mercantile and hardware run by the Glesne/Glesna Family continuously until our purchase in 2021. The second floor has been fully remodeled with modern amenities and charms. We are a unique Bed and Breakfast with coffee roaster on site.
