About this property

Your South Kona Hideaway Awaits!

Relax and rejuvenate in cozy comfort while staying with us. Enjoy the sights and sounds of nature as we are surrounded by exotic flowering trees, many of which are homes to a variety of birds and even coquis whose musical chirps along with the rustling leaves make you forget how close we are to the highway. Honey bees(property of Big Island Queens) also reside on our property, so please keep this in mind if you are allergic. Freshly picked seasonal fruits will be available for you to sample throughout your stay. Our little ohana is just off Hwy 11 on it's own private road which makes it easy to find us. Being at 1000ft elevation provides cooler temperatures to escape the hustle and bustle and stifling heat of Kailua Kona.

We are approximately :
8 mins to Pu'u Honua O Honaunau(City of Refuge) A truly historic place. Great snorkeling and diving at Honaunau Bay (2-Steps)
13 mins to Kealakekua Bay (Location of Capt. Cook's Monument)
9 mins to beautiful Ho'okena Beach, with its fluffy silver sand and easy ocean entry for swimming
10 mins from Kealakekua Ranch Center, Post Office, Choice Mart, Ace Hardware, Black Rock Pizza, Shaka Taco's, and more. On Sunday stop by the Pure Kona Green Markets which hosts dozens of local vendors featuring handmade art, fresh fruits & vegetables, Kona Coffee, local food, and live music.
35 mins to sunny Kailua-Kona.
45 mins to Kona Int'l Airport.

Aloha stay
What a beautiful property! My friend and I were pleased by it all. We absolutely loved the proximity to our favorite beach. We had everything we wanted or needed and enjoyed our stay very much. The surroundings were very tranquil and pleasing to the eye. I will be placing this at the top of my list for future visits. Mahalo

I am born and raised in Guyana, South America and have been living in Hawai'i since 2005. I am a house wife who enjoys cooking and being with my family. Joe is born and raised in Hawai'i and works with a local construction company. We are parents to 2 young energetic, adventure seeking children. It is always a pleasure meeting new people and learning what inspired them to want to visit our beautiful island.

Why they chose this property

The Island of Hawai'i truly is paradise and we are blessed to have found this home that is our sanctuary.

What makes this property unique

We are a very old and very small sub-division with a total of 8 -1 acre lots, surrounded by Kealia Ranch who owns thousands of acres.
