Off the beaten path. A very inviting environment with friendly furbabies to greet you upon arrival. Easy to follow instructions for farm living provided in pamphlet under TV. A great place to stay. I will reserve again.
Our stay was so relaxing. Beautiful sunrises the most friendliest dogs. The girls loved feeding the animals every morning. It is close to mammoth cave and Ky Down Under where we got to pet kangaroos. I spent one whole day just on the porch listening to the birds coloring and reading a book. I would go here once a month and stay if it was closer. The place was clean and so cute. The bed was super cozy and soft. I cooked every night and we had everything we needed.
The space was great for our family of 4. We loved the farm. It was beautiful and serene. Everything we had hoped for. Carey is absolutely wonderful. In the morning, our children were able to help feed the farm animals and it was such a nice experience for them.
Beautiful countryside, amazing host! Cute , private , peaceful apartment. Close to Edmonton, but away from any noise! Fresh eggs for breakfast a plus! Can’t wait to go back when I have more time to explore trails and visit animals! Give this cozy beautiful place 5 stars! And 10 for the host! Recommend this peaceful place to all!!
Beautiful out of the way spot. Swueaky clean and beautifully decorated. Their sweet hound “Wailin(sp?)” greeted us. He’s a gentle soul - and don’t worry - he didn’t make a peep during our stay!Only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer and enjoy the beautiful countryside and rolling hills…
We were looking for a quiet place to spend a few days while in the area. Boy did we pick the right place. Off the beaten path in rural Kentucky. The place was very well kept and spotless. That is saying a lot for any place but especially on a farm. The owners were awesome answered all our questions right away that we had prior to our arrival. The check in and out could not be simpler. They recommended a local restaurant the lighthouse and it didn’t disappoint the fried catfish was amazing. My wife loves animals and couldn’t resist the opportunity to help with feeding the animals our first morning there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. My problem now after our stay my wife wants to buy a small farm and move to Kentucky.
Quiet, peaceful farm house. Clean, comfortable, cute. Easy to access. Had everything we needed. Host was very helpful, responsive, thoughtful. Good value. About 30 minutes to Mammoth Cave and National Corvette Museum.
We stayed here to have a farm experience for our children while seeing Mammoth Cave. Carey was so good with the kids and they had a great time feeding the animals. We would definitely stay here again if ever in KY!
We were looking to be out of the city for quite peace and wow we got it!! Mike & Carey were great and their VRBO was so nice could not have asked for anything nicer! We can't wait to go back again and disconnect the from the city!
