Capitol Reef Dome | Primrose

Welcome to our geodesic dome, just minutes from Capitol Reef National Park and Goblin Valley. Each dome is fully furnished and has its own private bathroom. The dome shape opens up the space with awesome views and natural light. Step outside to hike the canyons and explore the park. Built and run by our family.

We have a few other domes on the property — if your dates aren’t available for this one, check the others.

The skylight is covered to keep the dome cool from the sun :)

This trip was for an early mother's Day. Just myself and my mom with our pups dome was the most perfect, incredible experience. Super clean, very comfortable. Great view of the stars at night and really convenient to Capitol reef which is exactly what we wanted. It gave us that off-grid feeling but with all the nice amenities of a hotel. They even had a book of suggestions and local restaurants and things to do. Can't wait to come stay here again!

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every minute. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and were close to many places to explore. The dome was exactly as described. The bed was very comfortable and we slept very well. The night sky was breathtaking. Didn’t want to leave. I would recommend this to anyone. We stayed in Primrose and it was perfect. The one thing I would suggest, if you are there during hot climate. Bring a small fan for the shower. It gets very warm in there during the hot hours of the day. The dome itself stayed nice and cool. A big thank you to our hosts for being very informative and fast to respond to questions! Cell service is very limited in and around the area, just FYI. But we didn’t mind. We enjoyed being disconnected from it all.

Great stay at Capitol Reef Dome. The location is hard to beat. It is about a 10 minute drive to Factory Butte and very close to Moons Overlook, which made exploring easy and stress free.The dome was clean, comfortable, and quiet, with beautiful desert views and an amazing night sky. It felt remote but still convenient.I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Good location between Goblin Valley and Capitol Reef. Right off the highway which was convenient. Almost no traffic at night so it was relatively quiet. Perfect mix of camping and hotel room.
