We had a group of 15 get together for a friend reunion. This place was beyond perfect for us. The entire property was so much bigger than anything I was imagining. The cabins are at the end of a long dirt road so it’s very private. I think only 2 other places on the property are available to rent and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. Lost lake is a short walk from the cabins and they provide canoes and kayaks you can use. The cabins and pavilion have electricity and stay very cool at night. Bring your bug spray, but that’s to be expected when you’re surrounded by woods. The host was very communicative and would reply to my questions quickly. Overall we had such an incredible stay and will absolutely be coming back here!
The property was simply amazing. A huge 200 acre sprawling foresty complex connected by dirt roads with some very cool history. We truly felt like we were alone and in our own little campsite. The lake is as picturesque as you could imagine with great fish to boot, kayaks and rowboat provided by the host of course. The specific cabins were very beautiful, very modern and updated with extremely comfortable beds. If you love exploring the outdoors, hanging with friends or family by a campfire and sleeping in absolute comfort at the end of the day is your thing, this place is for you.

What makes this property unique
The 15 mini- cabins are part of hundreds of acres of beautiful, wooded ground that have access to a private lake. Spread out and secluded from one another are two other rental properties. These include a small, modern log cabin and larger, spacious 3 bedroom and two bath house. The property and house was originally part of the Lost Lake Scout Reservation from 1964-2012. Prior to the Boy Scouts' ownership it belonged to Harry Bennett. Bennett was the head of Henry Ford's 'service department' and he built a cement log lodge on the lake. The lodge still remains, but is in disrepair as mother nature has taken it over.
