Property is 5th generation farm. Your stay will be quiet, secluded with very large yard and kid friendly. The Ark is in view when you first enter the farm. Firepit complete with fireflies, stars and view of Ark at night. Porch with swing to sit and watch wildlife. Just a few short miles from restaurants, shopping and other attractions.

What a wonderful gem in such a relaxing setting!! We stayed here after spending the day at the Ark Encounter. Sherry was the most hospitable host we have ever dealt with and we would highly recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area!!

My Happy Place was very clean and well equipped for our stay. Sherry was very accommodating and easy to work with. My Happy Place is very secluded and peaceful. We had a very nice time.

A beautiful pastoral setting, perfect for relaxing. Nearby is the Ark Encounter, which is visible from the property. The hostess exceeded our expectations in every way. If we lived closer, we’d love to visit just to stay in touch!

A wonderful, down-home place that was perfect for our stay while visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. The house was clean and tidy, well supplied, and the hostess went above and beyond to be sure we had everything we needed while there. The location is a ways off the main roads, offering quiet tranquility and beautiful views of the Kentucky hills. We would definitely book another stay, should we be back in the area.

A great place to stay if you are visiting the Ark nearby. But it's a good idea to have an suv or truck as the property is off the beaten path. In relation to the property being off the path, you cannot see it from the road. The property owner gives good instructions and meets you at the property. I did have good luck using Google Maps for directions until you pull onto the dirt road and meet the property owner at the big barn. The place was very clean and had had a full kitchen with plates, utensils and all your cooking needs. There was even pancake mix and syrup and butter to make make pancakes the next morning.

Wow!!! My Happy Place was one of the best VRBO rentals I've had. Sherry, the host, was incredibly kind, organized and communicated well. She escorted us to the property (much appreciated - it might have been tough to find on our own), gave a thorough tour, helped unload the car and even provided a fresh loaf of bread. The place was extremely clean and well-supplied. I can't imagine a better experience.
