Key Lime Cottage is a Craftsman-style bungalow that truly serves as a home away from home. It's perfect for couples traveling with children or for those traveling on extended stays with three bedrooms (two with queen-sized beds and a third with twin beds) and two bathrooms (one on-suite with a stand-up shower and the other a Jack-and-Jill bath with a clawfoot tub and shower).

Choose from either the front or back open porches to sit back and enjoy the private fenced yard and gardens. The large full kitchen flows into a dining room area and two separate living areas that follow the plan of the shotgun house it was originally built as in the 1920’s. Decorated with antiques and period furnishings and lined with windows, Key Lime Cottage is a bright and airy home that one can’t help but feel welcome in.

About the host

In 1990 Cindy and Joe purchased the Baird Mansion, or at least what was the Baird Mansion. Hippies and college students had inhabited it for 30 years. Cindy and Joe restored the 1885 French Second Empire Victorian Mansion to Magnolia Plantation and opened the Inn on May 3, 1991. Since then the inn has received many honors including: "Best Bed and Breakfast in Florida" by Florida Living Magazine and "Most Romantic Bed and Breakfast in Florida" by Most Romantic Escapes in Florida guidebook. The Inn and Cindy's recipes have been featured in a variety of guidebooks and cookbooks. Articles have appeared in such publications as Southern Living, Victorian Decorating Ideas, Florida Living and The Orlando Sentinel.
