Renovated to the latest style, this cottage can comfortably accommodate 9 people.

In Chertsey, 1 hour 20 minutes from Montreal, beautiful chalet on the shores of Lac Original.
5 minutes from the trails of the Ouareau forest (walking, cycling and snowshoeing).
50 minutes from Mont Garceau
30 minutes from the Montcalm ski slopes. 50 minutes from Val St-Côme and 55 minutes from St-Donat. In the village there is a tennis court. In St-Liguori there is a beautiful golf course, the Montcalm.
In Rawdon, 25 minutes away, there are several activities including the La Terre des Bisons farm, the Spa, the Bains Nordiques source, the Rawdon golf course, the Dorwin falls and for the adventurous, rock climbing in Arbraska. On 8th avenue in Rawdon there is an ice rink on the lake and a small slide for children. Several restaurants including an excellent Thai restaurant, Sukhothai on 3rd avenue. Bigfoot Paintball in St-Alphonse de Rodriguez.
For downhill skiing, there are Montcalm ski centers, located in Chertsey on route 125, Mont Garceau and La Réserve in St-Donat.

Ouareau Forest Regional Park:
Covering just over 150 km², the Ouareau Forest Regional Park offers a vast territory for outdoor enthusiasts. It is accessed from the following sectors: Massif, Grande-Jetée, Grande-Vallée, Suspension Bridge and Foothills. The park has a mountain range incorporating a network of multifunctional trails (walking, cycling, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing) of 120 km. Numerous shelters and rustic camping sites make it possible to lengthen the stay of hikers. Crossed by a magnificent river and peaks as far as the eye can see, the Ouareau Forest will allow you to discover breathtaking landscapes and varied natural resources. Here are the favorites by sector:
Massif sector: For the seasoned hiker, the National Trail (Massif trail) gives you a succession of points of view as much to the south as to the north and the high summits of St-Donat.

Un petit coin isolé
Pour les points positifs : La maison est spacieuse, chacun avait son coin et pouvait s'isoler si besoin. Les salles de jeux (billard et musique) ont été appréciés et l'ensemble de la maison est très bien équipée. La situation est calme et reposante (en contrepartie isolée de tout. Il fallait faire 20 min de voiture pour trouver le 1er commerce). Nous avons passé un très bon séjour en famille dans cette location. Pour les points négatifs: le tuyau de douche de la salle de bain du haut était cassé et l'eau giclait sur le côté, le ménage laissait un peu à désirer (sous les lits, beaucoup de poussière et il trainait un chausson et des mouchoirs sous un lit). Quand on est arrivés, le sèche linge était plein de serviettes mouillées, on a dû le relancer et attendre le lendemain matin pour nous doucher car il ne restait que des petites serviettes de toilette dans l'armoire. Petit plus : un lave-vaisselle serait le bienvenu dans une maison pouvant accueillir de grande famille (mais ça, nous le savions avant...).

Bel endroit
L'emplacement est super. Le chalet est très bien, beacoup de suppléments a notre disposition, jeux, dvd, etc. Négatif: les toiles d'araignée dans les fenêtres devraient êtres nettoyés. Ilfaudrait faire le tour, car les locataire ne vide pas toujours les poubelles et la cafetière était sale.
