Romantic Shores Hideaway - Beachfront Getaway!

Kick back and relax in this calm, romantic beachfront home. 2 bedroom, 1 full bath, a screened in porch, & a cozy atmosphere, you can`t go wrong enjoying time w/your loved one in this adorable cottage. With a fully equipped kitchen w/all your cooking basics, wi-fi, streaming services, and breath taking views, it makes for a perfect couples retreat to recharge your batteries and reconnect! Downtown Port Sanilac is a just short drive away, which offers, shops, restaurants, and more!

You will need a car to get around. Although Huron Shores Golf Club is a 7 minute walk from the home!
HOUSE RULES:

- No more than 2 cars on site
- Do NOT park on road or in neighbors`way!
- All furniture must be put back where it is found!
- No Shoes on while inside the home
- Quiet hours are from 11 PM to 8 AM
- Please respect our neighbors by not having loud music or by yelling and using profanity (many are permanent residents!)
- Garabage must be bagged up, put into trash bins at the end of the drive way at departure.
- You must be 25 or older to rent this cottage
- No tents, campers or motor homes are allowed

It was a great girlfriend getaway. We wanted to be on the beach and enjoy sitting reading and relaxing by the water and this property delivered. The cottage was clean and well stocked. The host replied to our questions and concerns very quickly. We would definately book again.

This place is absolutely beautiful. The beach property was so nice and relaxing. The location was just outside of the city and easy to access restaurants and stores. We were able to spend time in both Port Sanilac and Lexington during our vacation. During our stay, we had an issue with the water and it took longer than we would have liked for it to be resolved. Communication took longer than we would have hoped but they ended up full resolving the issue. Overall, I would recommend this location for the beach front property.

Amazing get away for two

This house has everything, including the perfect location, for an amazing, relaxing escape from the every day! Perfectly situated to hear the waves crashing on the shore. Comfy furniture, a bonfire pit, bring a book or your favorite movie, it really is the perfect escape!

Over priced

Door screen was ripped, bedroom window wouldn’t close/lock, rugs dirty, back porch was dirty and overgrown weeds but the view was nice. Second room just had foam as the mattress so luckily no one was with us and had a very tacky Desk that didn’t belong in a bedroom.

Cozy place, great view, quiet and rustic

We enjoyed our stay first week of June with cooler weather. Cozy place, great view, firepit, quiet and rustic. House is offset far from road which make this place feel secluded and private. The back porch 20fett off the breakwall makes this place, with access to beach below. Just needs a little TLC to be outstanding from very good. Needs outside lawn Maintenace, power washing and fridge cleanout, otherwise this cabin is well done. A couple nice to haves LED lighting in Kitchen. Only a shop light makes it dark at night cooking. Also no smoke detector or Fire Extinguisher [ I always bring my own] would be $40 well spent by property owner. NOTE: No AC, this place gets hot in summer days. Other than missing Adirondack chairs in pictures, this cottage is as seen in pics.

This is a beautiful and cozy place right on the lake. The sunroom is especially lovely, and the lake area is very quiet - great for reading and watching sunsets, etc. The kitchen is well equipped tools-wise, but you will need to bring salt, oil etc. - recommend stopping at a larger grocery store if you plan to cook a lot, but the store in town is pretty well stocked.The one thing I wish was clear is that the two bedrooms are separated by a wall that doesn't go all the way to the ceiling, so you can hear everything in the other room. It wasn't a big issue for us but may be for others.Overall a great stay!
