We'd love to welcome you to your new favorite place: The Retreat at Shell Mountain! This beautifully designed, brand new cabin (completed in 10/2023) combines all of the traditional features of a cozy cabin but with modern upgrades including clean sight lines, open floor plan, and plenty of indoor/outdoor living spaces.

- Private large all-season saltwater pool- With garage door to open when weather permits AND to close in colder seasons to allow for swimming year-round!

- Two large living rooms (main floor and downstairs) for maximum gathering potential
- Clean, well-stocked, bright kitchen with plenty of cookware

Amazing simply amazing

We had a great time! Perfect stay! Wouldn’t change a thing! By far our best booking EVER! Host were super friendly and available for all our little questions. We will be booking this home again in the near future! Beautiful! Clean! Private! Secure! Everything we wanted and more!

Beautiful spacious Mountain Home

Our family spent Christmas here and absolutely loved it! There was a beautiful Christmas tree up in the living room, so that was a nice personal touch. Lots of space to hang out inside of the house and outside on the decks. Beds were very comfortable and we were happy to have a lot of bathrooms. We had planned on cooking every meal there for our large family so it was nice to have a big kitchen. It would have been nice to have some bigger cooking pots/pans only because we had a lot of people we were cooking for but we made the ones provided work. Overall this was definitely the perfect stay!

Hi! This is Jen, and together with my parents (Jim and Debbie) and husband Shane, we are excited to offer this one of a kind property near the beautiful Smoky Mountains! I have 3 siblings who live all over the country so we are always looking for places to get together to spend quality time and to reconnect with one another. Every summer we search for the perfect get away space for our family. Knowing we want to keep up this tradition of gathering, we decided to build our own space! No more searching!! We grew up in Tennessee and have a love of the mountains and outdoors so Sevierville was a perfect fit for us. It also gets us close enough to enjoy the occasional UT football game (Go Vols!). We are thrilled to get to share this area and this specific property with you and yours! We hope that you'll make memories to last a lifetime and come back year after year, just as we plan to!

Why they chose this property

From the first time we visited while considering building a cabin, this mountain seemed special to us. The views on the way up are spectacular, the other cabins located on the mountain are beautiful and it is a quiet, serene setting to enjoy some time away. We hope you feel what we felt the first time we visited!

What makes this property unique

We wanted to provide something different than the typical "log cabin" that you typically find in the area. Something more modern, but still with "woodsy" vibes that highlights the beauty of the area. This beautiful home offers both the majestic views of the mountains from the massive windows and expansive porches, but also offers outdoor space to enjoy a quiet retreat on the private porches or some space to let the kids play and explore in the woods out back. We do hope that you'll come enjoy it for yourself!
