Mixed Experience in a Charming Home

I stayed in this lovely home with its charming décor, inside was incredibly neat and well-maintained, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. However, I couldn't help but notice a few areas that needed attention. The front and back yards were in need of some serious maintenance. One major drawback was the state of the trash can. The broken lid made it an ideal breeding ground for flies, which wasn't a pleasant sight. Our arrival was marred by the lack of power in the house. This unexpected situation left us in the dark for hours, quite literally. Adding to the frustration, I left a voicemail about the power outage but didn't receive a callback on the provided number. This lack of response added to the inconvenience of the situation. While such situations can occur, it would have been thoughtful for the host to provide torchlight batteries, especially if power outages are common in the area. Furthermore, inside the house, the air filter in the living room was noticeably noisy, which made it challenging to fully enjoy watching TV or engaging in conversations. This home has a lot of potential with its lovely interior and charming decor. However, the lack of maintenance in both the front and back yards, along with the issues with the trash can and noisy air filter, left a bit to be desired.

Bola, Hi! Thank you for the feedback of your stay at our home, we really appreciate your helping us get better. We had been experiencing storms the whole week prior to your arrival which contributed to some of the issues you’ve raised. The storms caused multiple power outages in the area. Thank you for offering the suggestion of battery powered flashlights. That’s a great idea. The storms also contributed to the lawn being overgrown. Lawn maintenance has been completely caught up now. I’ve sent maintenance over to investigate the “noisy” air filter and I’m sure they’ll take care of it. We have also contacted the city to ask that they replace the broken trash can. It was a pleasure to host you and please let us know if there’s anything we can do for you in the future.
