A peaceful location off the beaten path of the City but close to white sandy Beaches, area Casino, and shopping at Lighthouse Mall. The 6 bedroom house offers a country like setting and close to restaurants, shopping and more. Get a fresh nights sleep on mostly all new memory foam beds. The house is set up at an apartment up stairs and one down, More amenities are added as we go and as we improve the property. Cook in or carry out your favorite meal or hit some of the wonderful restaurants in the area or spend the day at the beach and come back and relax in the yard with your favorite refreshment. What I love about the property is the peacefulness. Your away from the busyness of the city but your also in driving distance to everything. A great place to kick back and read in the reading nook with a good book or pick a game that the whole family can enjoy.
However, this property offers plenty of space to spread out. With three bedrooms on each floor, two living rooms, and 2 kitchens. The kitchen's each have a stove, microwave, coffee pot, coffee, dishes, pot & pans, utensils, and more. A relaxing environment to house many people at one time so you can be close to your group. Great for wedding members, Bridesmaid outings, holiday gatherings, or family time together. Keyless entry is amazing and stress free, along with many phone charger ports helps you stay connected on the go. The gas grill offers a outdoor experience to cook up your favorite burger. With a very private back yard to sit and watch the flames of a fire in the clay fire pit vessel. You are sure to enjoy your stay in an amazing home that makes you feel welcome and secure.

Girlfriends getaway

Overall the location was perfect to the Michigan City lighthouse, beach, zoo, and everywhere else you might was to go. We knew from other reviews that it was near a correctional facility, we just disnt realize it was the Indiana State prison. Regardless, no issues at all and the house provided everything we needed. We look forward to renting this house again.

Overall Stay

When we first arrived I thought that the the outside appearance was going to be a reflection of what would be the overall appearance. On the outside the home is old and aging but once you step inside it is one of the nicest older homes. We loved the space and the beautiful woodwork. It was a warm and comfortable experience. The home is across the road from Indiana correctional facility but we did not feel threatened or concerned. We enjoyed the accommodations and we would stay there again. It is now a part of a great memory which we will reflect upon for years to come.

Great House

I found the house itself to be in good condition with more than enough space for the 9 of us to stay comfortably. Communication with the host was quick and easy as well. Overall was a great experience.

The reason I like being a host is because I like seeing people have a good time getting together with family and friends. I grew up in a large family where we gathered together on the weekends and enjoyed catching up with each other and eating good home cooked meals. The closeness of family is more important now days than ever. I have enjoyed walking the beaches in the area all my life and I love when visitors get a chance to enjoy our lovely white sandy beaches. I am a seamstress by trade, a life coach and mother of two adult boys and wife. And it has always been a pleasure creating great spaces for others to enjoy. I love interior design, psychology, art, chocolate and wine. And I love making life better for others.

Why they chose this property

This area is great because it is off the beaten path and safe. The woods makes it feel like you are always with nature. The back yard offers privacy from the road so you can lay out if you are working on your tan.

What makes this property unique

The peaceful area is nice to enjoy when you want to have quiet moments and have a peace of mind. The house stays cool on it's own if left closed up. The large yard is nice to play catch or have a cook out and enjoy the outdoors.
