About the host
Hosted by Stevie

Hi! I’m Stevie! I’m originally from Western New York, but have been working and traveling the country with my dogs and cat for almost ten years! I love hiking, surfing, meeting new and interesting people. I absolutely understand how wonderful it is not only to find myself staying in a really nice place, but to find one that is accommodating to my pack, as well! It’s not always easy to find places that allow me to stay with my pets, and I am a firm believer that they, in their short lives, should be able to share as many of the experiences I enjoy, as possible! I aim to provide that space for others in the way I have enjoyed it, elsewhere. And since I stay at Hummingbird Hollow, myself, whenever I am home visiting my family, I know first hand how rejuvenating this space is and am truly excited to share it!!
Why they chose this property
It’s very secluded. This property sits on a private road shared with very few neighbors. The sparse population of the area really allows the wildlife to flourish, and staying here really allows you to feel like a visitor to nature’s territory.
What makes this property unique
It’s designed for relaxation, enjoyment, and a comfortable immersion in nature. This area is still, wonderfully, wild. While here you will, in the summer, likely see hummingbirds-a-plenty, eastern bluebirds (we have a pair nesting in one of our birdhouses,) bald eagles, red tail hawk, pheasants, woodpeckers, and many, many, many more bird species. This yard is a popular haunt for deer, fox, raccoons, chipmunks, and squirrels, year round. Occasionally we are visited by fisher cats, and we often see bear sign right on the property!
