Every bit of this home was thoughtfully executed. You are staying in HISTORY! All brick construction with everything you'd expect (yes, it has hot water, heating, air, WiFi, etc.)!

Lime washed brick, updated fixtures, beautifully refinished original floors, and a total update round out this historic rehab with zero expense spared. Don't sleep on this home, it has it all!

The East Market District of downtown, also referred to as NuLu (New Louisville) is becoming known for unique art galleries, specialty stores, antique shops and a growing number of local restaurants. "Thrillist" even named NuLu one of the 18 Best Food Neighborhoods in America.

On the first Friday of the month, hop aboard a ZeroBus for the First Friday Hop. It’s an all-in-one art show, shopping adventure and street party.

The kitchen well-equipped to prepare meals and feature all cookware, cooking utensils, dinnerware and flatware. Basics items such as salt, pepper and oil are provided. If any of these are out, please do not hesitate to ask as we keep stock of these items and someone can drop them off. Coffee essentials such as K-Cups, a variety of sweeteners and creamers are provided.

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Guests are required to sign all Rental Agreements prior to check in. If guests refuse to sign the rental agreement, the cancellation policy will still apply.

KENTUCKY DERBY: All Kentucky Derby week/weekend reservations are non refundable, regardless of whether or not a rental agreement has been signed.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: A security deposit hold is required for this reservation. This deposit is collected outside of the booking platform. The deposit must be collected at least 3 days prior to check or the reservation may be cancelled and the cancellation policy will still apply.

Not what it seems.

Not what it seems from the pictures. Windows falling out, no blinds in bedroom, bedroom door with missing hinge, ants in the kitchen, dirt everywhere (cobwebs in corner of shower with bugs attached), "very" low ceiling in one bedroom (can't be over 5'6") so much that hitting your head is a guarantee.

Great location for bourbon tour!

Wonderful historic building! So cute and so much character. Location is about 1-1.5 miles from Whiskey Row - so it can be walked. Wonderful local brew pub 2 blocks away. Nicely decorated. Lots of room for two couples. Bedrooms are located upstairs, so if there are any mobility issues, that is something to keep in mind. But for us - it was not an issue, and we loved our stay! Would definitely stay there again.

Nice place but maybe not for older people.

A home with character for sure. It was not as convenient as we would have liked having both bedrooms upstairs but only one bathroom. There was no towel hooks or bars to hang towels on in upstairs bathroom which made it a little inconvenient. Short ceilings in bedrooms and going up staircase made it a little tricky for some of us but is was a charming clean house in a convenient location. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there.
