The castle was perfect! My son was getting married and the groomsmen and their ladies all spent the weekend there. The bridal party took their wedding photos there. Amazing place! Very fun! Property is lovely!
First of all, the property is lovely. Debbi is an amazing property manager and extremely helpful! The kitchen is outfitted with everything you could imagine you might need. Lots of places to gather and just be together.
What a great place to stay for the entire family. Everyone had something to do. The pond was great and not too far from the house which was an added benefit.
Wonderful experience for the entire family! The grandchildren loved everything about it. The pontoon boat, lake and beach were amazing as well as walking the trails and playing knights and dragons. Hosts were very kind and responsive to all questions. So much space and fun things to do! Very unique and worthwhile experience.
Everything about the process from booking to check-out was great. Mitch and Debbie were very communicative, and the property itself was perfect for a large group gathering. The castle is enormous and extremely well-kept, and the outdoor space is beautiful. I highly recommend staying here!

Royal Family 60th Birthday Celebration
Whole family was delighted with the terrific kitchen, sleeping arrangements, activities in doors and out, spacious enchanted grounds and beautiful castle!
We really enjoyed our stay. Our troupe included 16 family members who all seemed to embrace and appreciate a royal lifestyle for a few days during the holidays. The architecture, craftsmanship, eclectic artwork, kitchen space, group settings combined with indoor and outdoor privacy, were among the many attributes highlighted among the family royal court. It’s hard to think of anything negative about our stay (maybe only the challenges with TV/theater remotes), and clouds that inhibited using the observatory! Special thanks to manager, Debbie, who welcomed us, provided a lovely tour with detailed explanations, and was very responsive to our (few) inquiries. Thank you very much!
10 guys stayed for a total 3 nights for a fantasy football draft. Plenty of stuff to do at the property from golf, to fishing, to horseshoes, to beach and swimming. Highly recommend the property. Beds were comfortable also.
The castle was very unique & interesting. One of the favorite things was that each bedroom had its own attached bathroom. That will be hard to beat at other VRBO's we may stay in the future. :)
My family of 9 adults met at The Castle and found The Castle and the furnishings were very fun and eccentric. It is a great place for a large family to gather with plenty of room and things to do like fishing, trolling around the pond, outdoor fire pit, walking, cooking, playing games and being outdoors. Debbie was helpful in showing us around. The exterior could use a little maintenance/TLC. The observatory had many flies inside, so we were disappointed that we didn’t get to use it, otherwise had a great time.
