Why they chose this property

Located on the periphery of Santa Fe City limits-just 15 minutes to the Plaza- the Village of La Cienega is located on the site of a Keres pueblo that took part in the 1680 Pueblo Revolt. It is adjacent to the La Cieneguilla Land Grant and abundant with petroglyphs and pottery shards from the early 1300’s. Our home sits on the ancient Camino Real de Tierra Adentro- the trade route between Mexico City and Santa Fe which runs through the village of La Cienega.
