Overall the property and Grand Hilton Village experience was great. Only issue is that photos show ocean front with unobstructed views. The unit we stayed in was on the side with no ocean views. Only views of buildings and pool.
Communication with the host before and during our stay was great! The first unit we were assigned has a problem with the air conditioning, but the staff at Hilton Hawaiian Village quickly sent someone up and they promptly moved us to a new unit. Staying here was so much better than in a basic hotel room. Our family of four had plenty of room to spread out and we utilized all the space to our enjoyment. The location includes close proximity to the lagoon, beach, restaurants, and the fireworks on Friday nights. We would gladly book with this host again!
Had a lovely family vacation. First three nights we had an oceanfront overlooking the lagoon. Living room was very spacious and bedrooms were accommodating. Staff, location & resort were spectacular. We then moved rooms as stated in the description. Our next room had a partial ocean & was very cozy. View was excellent. Would definitely return because this resort has everything you need and anything else is in walking distance. Great restaurants, pools & shopping. Had a few maintenance issues but resolved quickly. Great place to stay for families. Truly hope to go back again
All was great with property. We were told they would assign us a unit when we checked in and they gave us the Penthouse! All was good until time to sleep and apparently the elevator pulleys or motors are above this unit. They are very loud and whirl and bang all night. Would definitely recommend the building but would suggest you request to not have the penthouse
Our stay was great with one exception. When we first arrived we were told we had two reservations and that we would be moving rooms after four days. This was not my understanding on booking the unit. After many conversations, we were allowed to stay in the original unit for all seven days, but did not find this out until the day before the move was supposed to happen. This was a bit upsetting and caused some concern that was unneccessary. Otherwise our stay was enjoyable.
