Enjoy your stay at our newly upgraded and refurnished home which is located in a quiet neighborhood near downtown Bakersfield. There are plenty of fun activities for people of all ages to enjoy in downtown. There you will find various restaurants, the Bakersfield Museum of Arts, the Padre Hotel, shopping centers, and the Mechanics Bank Arena.

Enjoy some family time at Kern River, which is located only 10 minutes away, and is 30 minutes from Lake Isabella.

The living room area was very spaciousness. The owner provided toiletries and other supplies such as towels, trash bags, detergent. Located in quiet neighborhood with nearby places to stop and get a quick meal.

Clean spacious house

We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed having 4 bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook several meals. Much cleaner than other rentals I have stayed at. We had 7 people and fit comfortably.

Great place! Clean and quiet!

Great place, great location. The home was very clean. Kitchen was stocked with all the necessary items and more. Plenty of towels and bathroom items if needed. It was nice being able to grill our steaks and sit on the back patio to eat dinner with the ambiance of the solar string lights on the patio. I highly recommend this home!

Quiet neighborhood home

We had a great stay. The neighborhood was quiet and the home was spacious. Lovely backyard as well. It definitely met our needs. We were in town for a sporting event so it was nice to have a quiet place to wind down. The only issue we noticed was that the flooring was a bit squeaky. No one can sneak up on you so that is a good thing I suppose. If we return we would stay again.

Bare bones, met the need

No frills, clean. One tv, no other entertainment. Advertised as sleeps 10 but only four beds (none larger than queen size) so that's a stretch. Owner very responsive and accomodating

No access; safety concerns

Arrived late; no visible house number; when finally located, couldn't get in; owner provided key code, but no where to put in a key code on the door; did not communicate well and was very delayed; cars and trucks were pulling up around us and numerous individuals watching us. Felt very uncomfortable as we had a passenger van with 8 adults and lots of luggage, etc; unable to get in and feeling unsafe, we left and ended up staying at a hotel. This is unusual for us. Up to that point and after we had great experienced with vrbo.
