This was just what we needed. Brought our 2 grandkids and they loved it! Well stocked and the owner was very responsive to our needs and questions. I would recomend this to anyone.
Our second time at this property. It works nicely for family and is very reasonable. Everything is stocked well. Steve (owner) is great. Bikes are worn so you may want to bring your own (not a big deal if you know in advance).
The owners of this property were very conscientious about communicating with us. I appreciated this personal involvement. We found the pictures on line did not do the condo justice. Lighter and more appealing in person. That was a nice surprise.
This is a great property to stay at while in Sunriver. We will be using this condo again in the future. There were just a couple very small issues that did not require any call to the owners. The dishwasher just didn't clean the dishes well, had to do them by hand not a big deal. Also, love the small private deck, but the screen door needs a little attention, can be very difficult to slide open and close, again not a big deal and did not in any way affect our stay here, it was awesome. Beds were really nice.
This was a great condo to rent for a weeks stay at Sunriver! It is close to the observatory, lodge, SHARC, and village, so just a short bike ride or walk to all those places. The place is clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and lots of towels. Comfortable beds and nice open kitchen, dining, living space. It’s an older place and dated looking, but kept up nicely. No air conditioning was a little uncomfortable during the 100 degree days we experienced, but would not be a problem if the temps were in the normal 80’s of Sunriver. They have fans, but bring some of your own, that definitely helps to bring in the cool air at night. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again.
All four of us truly enjoyed staying in your house at Sunriver. It was a perfection location — we liked the peace and quiet of the area and loved watching the many deer coming through eating the tree leaves. The house provided everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing.
Very nice condo with a homey feel. The is no A/C - although fans were provided they can only do so much when it's over 90. The bikes were a plus to have with all the paths around. Despite being in a large complex, the nearest grocery store is over 20min away so plan accordingly.
The Skyline condo was in a nice location. Very quiet, no train track noise. Upon arrival the property was most certainly cleaned and sanitized.....but there was a missed spot. Though the kitchen, living/dining and bedrooms were all clean, the one issue I had was the upstairs bathroom. Specifically, the shower curtain liner. It was fabric, and I feel, should be washed after each and every renter. Unfortunately, this bathroom liner was not clean. In fact, the bottom hemline was orange w/ slime up to about 6 inches. I was thankful that there was a very nice and well supplied laundry set up so I was able to take the liner down, wash it and rehang it, clean and ready for use. The sad part was that we had taken this trip as a vacation and having to start the trip off by doing laundry wasn't meeting our need. The fact that we didn't see the liner situation until late at night the first night I figured I could remedy the situation much faster doing it myself than to try to get someone to come to the unit to change it out. Other than that, the kitchen was very nicely supplied w/ your traditional kitchen tools/supplies. The living room was set up nicely too, though the couch I believe has seen better days. Sitting down on the couch, you soon discovered that you were sitting with your knees up to your ears, as you sunk down quite low. The couch was for additional sleeping for two, but I would not want to be one of the two to use it as a bed. No support. The beds were, for the most part, very nice. One individual in our party was 6'2" and his feet hung over the end of the bed. Not the worst situation, but didn't make for the best of sleep. One note to bring up is the ceiling fan in the upstairs bedroom. It overheated, also the first night, and as a result we woke to the very strong smell of something that smelled like it was burning. Fortunately, there was no fire, but with no A/C, the fan was definitely needed. We were thankful that there was a secondary fan, so it worked out fine, but for those following, don't use the upstairs ceiling fan. One last thought I would suggest is for the owner to label the light switches. Lots of on and offs, plus the bulbs seem to be on energy saving mode........very dim. If you plan on reading, bring a nice bright light.
Would we stay again, absolutely, but only with a few minor changes.
We appreciated how clean the condo was and how well-equipped the kitchen was with pans and a variety of utensils. We appreciated, too, that the deck was on the east side so there was afternoon shade. (Our stay was during the infamous heat dome.) The village was a convenient walk too.
Steve was amazing to communicate with and the home is very cozy and comfortable.
