Welcome to a taste of the Victorian era mixed with flavors of the Magical Mystery Tour of the 60’s. Driving up to your vacation home the mind’s curiosity triggers and upon entering, you’ll find yourself transfixed as your eyes are filled with wonder and amazement.
Greeted with the beautiful mountain views through the floor to ceiling living room windows and the time pieced surroundings, oh my, where to begin…
Stepping inside your vacation home, you’re greeted on the right with an antique dining area seating 8. Waiting for you in the living room are plush seating, a gas “Franklin Stove” and items to explore for hours. Between the living room and kitchen, with all the amenities, a breakfast table for 6 and island for 2 patiently wait your presence.
Off the living room hallway, branching to the left is where you can find a TV room with plenty of seating. Following the hallway to the right are two full sized shared bathrooms. One is a shower/tub combination with a single vanity. The other contains a shower, free standing copper tub and double vanity. Down the same hallway is the Primary bedroom with deck access.
Take that magic carpet ride upstairs to a wonderland of yesteryear. After enjoying some quiet time in the loft’s reading room, take a right turn to enter one of three rooms in the upper level. This room hosts a beautiful view of the mountains, charming queen size bed and seating furniture and a full private bathroom. Crossing the loft, another queen size bedroom with delightful furniture, private balcony providing a beautiful view of the mountains and a Jack-N’-Jill bathroom awaits. On the other side of the Jack-N’-Jill bathroom, a bedroom with 2 twin beds is yours for the choosing.
Roll on down to the lower-level to be taken away to another marvelous setting of this unique home. Rex Goliath will great you on your way to entertainment and relaxation. Plenty of space for family and friends to congregate around the pool table, shuffleboard, and TV. Or relax to the sounds of music on real vinyl while hanging out at the antique, wood carved bar with brass foot rest and stools. Needing some snacks? Not a problem with a full kitchen at your fingertips just a few feet away. For those who are too tired to go back upstairs, solitude awaits you in the queen bedroom around the corner just past the shared full bathroom.
Both decks provide lovely views. The entry level deck hosts a table for 4, rocking chair, two over-sized chairs and a screened sitting area with wood burning fireplace. Close by is the covered gas grill station for those tasty outdoor meals. The lower deck contains a tower space heater, hammock, 3 Adirondack chairs and a screened sitting area.
Off the lower-level deck to one side is where you can find the private hot tub and fire pit. To the other side of the deck, you’ll find a gazebo with bench seating, porch swing, slider bench and table for 4. Next to the gazebo, follow the steps to the horse shoe pit and free-standing deck with a table for 4. For a bonus, the backyard can supply a great place for those hide and seek games during the day or manhunt at night!
