Comfortable and cozy with a pleasantly retro decor. Located on a quiet country road with beautiful views, and surrounding landscape. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation away from the bustle and crowds of more typical accomodations in the area. It was hard to leave!

We were a group of five retired ladies who travel together yearly. We loved the quaint atmosphere of the farm house! The host was very attentive and brought us a hair dryer one evening. Peaceful place and beautiful setting. Plentiful towels and great, large coffee mugs!

Truly peaceful property!! Loved the old metal cabinets and sink. Kids loved the pool and the giant hill but the old dolls upstairs were a little creepy but we just kept that area shut Overall great experience and hosts were very responsive for any needs or questions!

We absolutely loved our stay here! This property is truly special. The house and grounds are beautiful, peaceful, and even better than we expected. We spent our days swimming in the gorgeous pool, relaxing outside, exploring Vermont, and ending our evenings making s’mores together. The house was incredibly comfortable, and we all slept so well.It was the kind of place where we could really slow down, enjoy being together, and make some wonderful family memories. We were genuinely sad to leave! We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing Vermont getaway.

This truly is a Vermont farmhouse. Beautiful location. The house was comfortable. We used all the spaces. Kids loved the pool (there were a couple of scraped knees from the cement). Pool was very clean and needed no attending. Great living room to gather at the end of day. The kitchen appliances were updated, the washer and dryer were efficient and the shower was great. Beds were comfy and there were air conditioners if needed. We loved the outdoor dining area and the grill was good. The hosts were very communicative with questions or concerns.

Beautiful getaway.

The property is so peaceful and serene. Four girls friends just wanted a relaxing trip together to swim, play cards and laugh. This home was everything we hoped for!They provided all the linens and towels, which make it stress free! We would love to visit again!

Wonderful foliage Oct weekend

Cozy farmhouse set in a beautiful setting high on a a mountain road above Hartland. Fireplace and fire pit used a lot with free firewood. Hosts were very attentive. Comfortable beds.

Beautiful

We had a great time. The landscape is gorgeous, the house was a good fit for our family (two adults, three kids), and our hosts were friendly, helpful, and great communicators. The pool was the highlight and we spent most of our time relaxing and splashing around there. Such an excellent week!

Beautiful and quiet location but close to highway and Woodstock. Lovely farmhouse but with all modern amenities. Beautiful pool. Lovely outdoor seating. Wonderful hosts, quick to respond. We will go back!!

Fantastic Getaway House

Brin and Jessica were fantastic in their communication, especially when VRBO didn't help at all. It's obvious they take great pride in the house--guests will never encounter the "Absentee Landlord" problem here. They do an excellent job with their descriptions; it is an old house but that's also part of the charm! My wife and I loved our visit!!

This property is an absolute gem. The house itself is spacious and full of character. It's an older house, but the owners have gone above and beyond with amenities, from the modern washer/dryer, AC in the bedrooms, smart TVs, and the local maple syrup and s'mores kit were a nice touch. The beds were very comfortable. All linens and towels were provided, along with a fully stocked kitchen. The pool and fire pit were both fantastic and made this place a great summer getaway. The owners were responsive, but not at all intrusive, and truly went above and beyond to make our vacation a memorable one. We would book this place again in a heartbeat.

Fun family time

I will start by saying this property may not be for everyone but we absolutely loved our stay! If you need a brand new house this place is not for you, if you can appreciate and older clean house in the Vermont countryside you’ll love it.we especially loved the Beautiful pool area, and the fire pit. Host even included dry firewood. I can only imagine how beautiful this area would be in fall or after a fresh snow just might have to return to find out!

Hartland Farmhouse in Autumn

In determining an overall rating, I evaluate function and expectations, as set by the online profile. The farmhouse is functional and as advertised in the pictures and description in the online profile; therefore the five-star rating. The family rooms are large, the kitchen is well supplied, the bathroom, although small, looks recently remodeled and the hosts are great! As stated in the profile, there is a smart tv with lots of streaming possibilities for those who have streaming services. Lots of quiet and beauty, but not too far from great activities and restaurants in the Upper Valley of VT.

Our family had a wondeful stay at the farmhouse. We had 6 adults and 2 children. The house was roomy, charming and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The pool water was so clean and the temp was perfect. We really enjoyed it. The location is gorgeous! The grounds are beautifully maintained, and it was so peaceful and quiet. We cooked on the grill and ate outside, the kids ran around and played, and we just relaxed among the beautiful trees, wildflowers and birds. Even though we were staying in Hartland for a wedding and had never been there before, we are planning on returning next summer we loved the place so much!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. The pool was a highlight that had my children not want to do anything else. The house was incredibly clean and reminiscent of a simpler time. We would love to come back.
