Since 2004, Kedra has been a guest favorite thanks to its personal touches and thoughtful amenities. The open main level feels like a peaceful mountain lodge with a large fireside living room, dining space for 14, and a well-stocked kitchen made for cooking together. Step out to the wraparound porch for quiet mornings or rocking chair afternoons with a view.

The main-floor primary suite includes a private bath and porch access. Upstairs has two oversized family-friendly bedrooms and a shared bath, plus a workspace with a view. The terrace level features another bedroom, full bath, flex room, and a fun zone with air hockey, and movie space.

**Life at the Lake**
A gentle walk out back leads to a private dock on a quiet cove, ideal for swimming, paddling, and sunset views. There’s a fire pit, canoe, paddleboard, and ping pong in the garage. Lake Nottely is a quiet lake, and Blairsville offers shops, restaurants, and small-town charm—plus Blue Ridge and Hiawassee are just 20 minutes away. Lake Nottely is TVA controlled and lake levels always are lowered in the off-season.

Enjoy, relax and feel at home

This cabin has everything you need, well equipped, super clean, big spaces, well decorated with many activities for all age ranges. Confortable beds, beautiful views and plenty of spots where you can just relax and enjoy. Our group of three families had a blast!

Wonderful Vacation!!

This cabin was wonderful. It is perfectly located and absolutely beautiful. We will be visiting this cabin in the future!! We’ve never stayed in a cabin or any vacation home for that matter that was so well stocked with everyrhing we needed and more!! We had an amazing week.

Beautiful place to stay

This property did not disappoint. The interior of the home was very clean, but the outside sitting areas could use a good washing. The waterfront access along with the private pier and fire pit were awesome. We caught and released fish off off of the pier, as well as went swimming, etc. This is an excellent family getaway. Many other things to do only a short drive away.

Absolutely wonderful! Very relaxing and the house has everything you need and more!

Kedra was very roomy and clean! The back deck is the perfect place to relax and have coffee in the mornings. The dock was perfect! Great for swimming, boating, and floating around on a raft. Played golf at the Butternut Creek Golf Course that was just minutes away from Kedra. Will definitely stay there again!

Perfect Home for Our Family for the Thanksgiving!

The home was just right for our family! We had our 3-yr old and 6 yr old grandsons and my sister and her family! Kitchen was well stocked! Too cold for lake use (and it was drained) but I am sure this would be a great place for warmer weather! The views are beautiful! Loved the extra "stash" of toiletries in the laundry room! Lots of spices, tin foil and other aids for cooking! We spent a lot of the day hours at my other sister's rental about 30 minutes away but enjoyed our time here too! Would've loved to enjoy the wrap around porches too but it was too cold! Quick response from owner when we were trying to figure out the fireplace! Would definitely stay again!

Nice get away!

Overall this is a great place to stay. We enjoyed ourselves and had a relaxing, fun time. There wasn't much communication prior to arrival and when we arrived after dark there were no lights on, so we were a tad unsure if we were at the right place. There was a for sale sign in the yard and that threw us off. This is a house on the lake and there was very little water in it. I wish the listing had advised us that the lake gets drained during the winter. It was still a pleasant view. My husband and I were in the main floor bedroom and the bed was so so. I noticed that it tended to have a drop to each side, indicating it is a pretty used bed. Other than that it was great!

Return to Kedra

We stayed at this property last year and loved everything about it. Consequently, we had to return this year and it was just as wonderful. The lake is lovely, it sleeps our 12 people-6 adults and 6 under age 11 very comfortably (in fact it could easily sleep several more), and even the little things were provided for. We particularly loved having access to a canoe, paddle boards, and plenty of life jackets. We even rented the next door neighbor's pontoon boat for the day which was great fun for all. Highly, highly recommended!!

Perfect Floorplan and Stay

Great property and location. We had 6 adults and 8 children and plenty of room. There are two family rooms so the kids could enjoy air hockey while watching a movie in the basement with the adults playing cards and enjoying the main family on the ground level. Loved Kedra and would highly recommend it! Also, reserve ths pontoon boat next door as well. The kids loved spending time on the water, the rate on the daily pontoon boat was very reasonable and the owner was great to work with. We will definitely book again.

Love This Home!

This was our third family vacation at Kedra on the Lake, in the woods, in the hills. For two weeks our family (eight of us) canoed, fished, swam, skipped stones on the water, went for walks and hikes, played air hockey & PlayStation, grilled burgers, enjoyed a campfire, star-gazed, sat on the balcony swing, watched deer and turkey, took naps, watched movies, and read our Bibles together as a family. We also enjoyed Brasstown Bald, Pappy's on the River, and the Sorghum Festival at Meeks Park. This house is beautiful with a great view and we're looking forward to spending even more time here.

Nice place to stay for multi family gatherings

Our extended family enjoyed our stay at Kedra. The house was clean, warm, and offered plenty of space for our group of ten. The ping pong table was a huge hit! The kids loved exploring the property and the water, even though the lake was low. And the several sitting areas, both inside and out, allowed for kids and adults plenty of space to engage in multiple activities at the same time. Unfortunately we never found pucks for the air hockey table and that was disappointing as we had looked forward to that amenity. Overall would recommend, especially in the warmer months when all the lake amenities are available.

Everything we wanted

This lakeside retreat had absolutely everything we wanted for a small family reunion. From 7-75 years old, everyone enjoyed the house and the lake. The house was comfortable and roomy and the kitchen easily handled cooking for a larger group. The double oven was especially useful. Of course the lake was the big attraction and we had a blast renting a boat and exploring, be sure to find the rope swing. Back at the house, the adults could sit on the beautiful wrap around porch and keep an eye on the kids playing down on the dock and along shoreline. Overall an excellent stay and we would definitely return. Thank you Kelly

A great home in a convenient area

We spent six nights in this beautiful home. It is very well equipped and clean. The owners were very accommodating and provided everything needed. The family room and air hockey tabie were perfect for the kids. We enjoyed the fire pit and walking around the area. Two refrigerators really helped. It is well furnished and comfortable. Just remember to back down the driveway if you have rear wheel drive. The slope is a little steep and it’s gravel. We were warned before arriving. Thanks to the owners for a great place to spend a family Christmas!

Great for our family reunion!

Our fourth stay at Kedra was just as nice as our first stay in 2006. Except, this time our kids are grown, married and have children of their own. With 5 bedrooms, 10 beds, a pullout couch and 3 1/2 baths, it was great to be able to host the family. The kitchen is well stocked. Ping pong in the garage and air hockey in the basement. A canoe and paddleboards for the lake. Hiking in the woods. Deer, turkey, birds, and squirrels everywhere. Internet works great. Roku TVs were a nice touch. What else can I say? We had a great 2 weeks with family coming and going.

Great lake getaway for fall break

Really enjoyed our stay! Everything as expected. Kids loved the lake and paddle boards. The lake was low, which we expected, but we were still able to take the boat out. Temp was 65-75 with rain, but they still got out there and went tubing. even though the neighbors are close, it was still very quiet and enjoyable. Only complaints...we did have some small black ants in the kitchen, and the water filter on the fridge did not seem to be working. The water from the fridge tasted like dirt. We had to buy a lot of bottled water/gallons of water to drink. All in all, would recommend it to anyone!

Our adult children and grandchildren (ages 11 to 1 month) recently spent the week with us at Kendra. It was such a wonderful week! We enjoyed swimming in the lake, taking a boat ride (rented from the next door neighbor, Doug, who is super!), swinging on the porch swing, playing board games, and enjoying meals around the large kitchen table. My husband took one of the grandkids fishing each morning and we enjoyed the lake in the afternoon together. The kids and grandkids enjoyed the air hockey, ping pong, canoe, and floats provided. Our two year old grandkids had no problem with the gentle slope down to the dock and back. We loved having a separate area for families upstairs and downstairs. It worked perfectly for our growing family! Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful place with my family!

Beautiful home

The water pipes/and toilets have a horrible ringing sound that needs to be fixed. We mentioned this last time we stayed here. It is very very annoying. We probably won't stay here again because of it. We were also disappointed that the lake water level was so low but it's not anything you can can fix. Also we would suggest that you place a bar of soap in every shower. And put extra toilet paper in the bathrooms so we don't have to go buy it.

Great location with plenty to do!

This was a wonderful property in a convenient location inbetween Blairsville and Blue Ridge. Even though it was winter during our stay, the outside area was great for the kids to play - baseball, soccer, forts - and there was plenty of water near the dock to keep everyone happy fishing or just splashing in the muddy creek (with their rain boots on, of course). We enjoyed the outside fire pit very much as well (be sure to stop by Home Depot on your way from town to pick up firewood). While there is a house directly to one side, and empty lot to the other gave us room to be outside without feeling like we were in someone’s way. The house itself was well stocked in the kitchen and very well maintained. The air hockey in the basement and ping pong in the garage was fun for kids and adults alike. The bedrooms are as spacious in real life as they appear online, and are comfortable. I would suggest for any winter visitors to bring your own throw blankets if you are a snuggler! While there are several quilts around, having a few available in the living areas (esp near the fire place) was something I missed. A great experice for a few families ringing in the new year!

We have 4 married children and 13 grand kids ages 1-23 who we love like crazy and with whom we share many wonderful times at Kedra through out the whole year. We would love for you to bring your crowd here too and please know that you will be treated like a treasured guest!

Why they chose this property

Lake Nottely in Blairsville has the perfect combination of charm, convenience, natural beauty and remoteness that makes our trips up there so enjoyable. There is lots to do but you don't have to fight a crowd of other vacationers to do it! The house is huge and is easy for more than one family to share, giving us each a little space to breath and plenty of room to share.

What makes this property unique

Each year we add to our list of things to do, taking expeditions to find new and interesting adventures. Of course, the lake is the biggest draw... fishing, canoeing, boating, swimming; it is all heaven on this lovely, peaceful lake. We also enjoy tubing and rafting down the rivers, golfing, hiking to waterfalls, shopping and eating out at our favorite restaurants. Probably our favorite outing is to Vogel State Park, a must-do on every trip. Mostly it is time spent together, making memories and getting refreshed from the peacefullness and beauty.
