The Harvard Cottage is a three bedroom and two bathroom house located in the heart of College Park Orlando. The home has a fully stocked kitchen with a full size refrigerator and granite countertops. The kitchen includes a blender, electric kettle, and a Keurig. There are multiple rooms to relax and lounge in, including a covered front porch and backyard patio. The backyard is closed in by a new privacy fence and surrounded by quiet neighbors. The house sits on a charming brick road just half a block from College Park's main artery, Edgewater Drive. This includes an array of restaurants, Publix, and Starbucks. The owners live close by with any assistance is needed.

Many Positives Some Negatives

This rental had many positive features such as a great location (College Park), a nice kitchen, comfortable beds, good Wi-Fi, a fenced backyard and the host was very responsive. Unfortunately, there were several things that kept us from giving it a top rating. First, there is no dining table, just a 2-person breakfast bar off the kitchen. There is no dinette set where 4 or more people can sit and eat. We couldn’t have friends over for a meal and eating all our meals at the small breakfast bar every day got old very quickly. Next, to enter the MBR and LR, you had to step down a few inches. It’s easy to miss that little step and it’s a potential tripping hazard every time one enters or leaves these two rooms. Finally, this property has a smaller than normal hot water tank. In the morning, we had to shower at least an hour apart or the second person wouldn’t have enough hot water. In summary, there were several positive features but we would not rent this place again.
