About this property
George Gardens
Welcome to George Gardens farmhouse! We are located minutes away from Ramona’s Old Town District, where you can find restaurants, shopping, and family-friendly activities. Our farmhouse is perfect for a weekend getaway, an artist or a digital nomad seeking an idyllic landscape, or a family sightseeing in San Diego County.
The space
We named our farmhouse George Gardens after my father’s childhood home, a place that he describes as having been magical. We hope to create that magic for you when you stay with us! Located atop a hill, we have a fabulous view of the mountains, lush greenery, and rolling hills.
The farmhouse is one story, and your room will have a private entrance with a keypad lock on door. The king-size canopy bed has a foam mattress however we also have a luxury air mattresses/pads should you need additional sleeping arrangements.
In addition, you will have a fully-equipped kitchenette (with K-cups for coffee), a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, instapot, airfryer, smoothie maker, Brita Filter and sink.
A standing fan, ceiling fan and portable AC will be available for summer and a space heater will be available in the winter. It’s a brick house hence it tends to stay cooler.
You will also have access to a fully-equipped, private bathroom. Our laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are available for your use for a small fee.
Rules and Policies
~ We do not allow pets due to allergy and health concerns with our animals and future guests.
~ The entire property is NON-SMOKING. No 420 and no tobacco substance of any kinds on the premises.

You will have access to your room, your bathroom, hallway kitchen, the laundry room where the utility sink is located and a patio at the back with table/chairs. We ask that you do not use the laundry facilities (washer and dryer) without speaking with us.
During your stay
We allow self check-in, but we do like to meet our guests. We will respect your privacy and leave you to enjoy the farmhouse but are also happy to chat and have you over for a cup of tea. I will answer quickly during the day, but I don’t answer messages after 9PM, which is why we ask that you check in before that time should you need assistance with anything.
We also ask that you give us your ETA by noon of the day of your arrival. It can be a rough estimate, but we need to know when to expect you.
Other things to note
Notes:
~ We do have a small housecat in the farmhouse, however she stays on the other side of the house and is not permitted in the room you will be staying in.
~ George Gardens is going through some exciting changes – we are in the process of building a vegetable garden, as well as renovating some things inside the house. While renovations will not impede your stay, we ask that you be mindful of this and if you have any feedback, let us know directly. We will accommodate your needs to the best of our ability. Some other sites have more reviews on us, come stay and be our review and we will offer discounts for the next 10 stays. We will collect a deposit of $50 to $200 depending on the length of your stay.
