Great little place to stay in West Milton. Clean, very well decorated! We loved the quiet countryside- a big change from our city life. Definitely will look to book again the next time I’m heading to West Milton.
I grew up right down and street and never knew about this gem! Coming home for a wedding, we were looking for something close by and this was perfect. We even got to have a few family members stop by for an afternoon visit. It was the perfect location to have a quick yet meaningful visit home. We definitely plan to return!
The Red Pump Inn is wonderful. You can tell the owners gave a lot of thought about the decor and amenities. We enjoyed coffee in the morning on the back deck, looking at the fields and listening to the birds. It was perfect for our stay in the area.
Lovely ambiance. It was just the place we needed for a few days as we planned the celebration of life for my father. I grew up in West Milton Ohio and it was his home for 50 years. If you have the chance to stay at the Red Pump Inn, you will never forget it. The owners also provide a special treat of fresh eggs from their farm.
This home and surrounding countryside are absolutely stunning. A real plus is that the location is rural, but very close to Troy and West Milton, Ohio. The VRBO host made herself readily accessible! Loved every minute!!
Wonderful place to stay. Convenient location that provides solitude and quiet, hiking trail for exercise (the driveway gives you a private hiking path as well), and a rural setting for those of us who love being in the countryside. The house welcomes you as soon as you step inside. Tastefully furnished, comfortable bed and linens, kitchen is expertly equipped for making meals. East facing deck provides a warm and sunny place for having that first cup of coffee while watching the red Cardinal birds in the trees. Hosts are awesome, respond immediately to questions, and their two dogs are awesome. Comfortable and quiet stay. Would definitely stay here again.
We're buckeyes, born and raised, now living in Florida. We were homesick for the peace and quiet of our former midwestern lifestyle. This lovely old country farmhouse was absolutely perfect for our vacation needs. In the midst of acres of farmland we were free to relax, watch deer and other wildlife, and breathe that fresh air. Our hosts even gave us fresh eggs from their flock of chickens. Happily we were only a short drive away from a couple of charming towns with all the shopping and amenities you'd need. We'll. return, for sure!
We truly enjoyed our time at the Red Pump Inn. It is so cute and has a lot of space for just housing 2 guests! The hosts gave us our space even though they live very close by. They left us fresh eggs, too, which is such a sweet touch! Thanks for having us on your lovely property!
My husband and I sold our Ohio home a couple of years ago and we’re back in the area visiting family. This place was absolutely perfect for our needs. Surrounded by acres of farmland, we could not have asked for a more serene location. Our hosts gifted us some beautiful farm fresh eggs from their flock which was a real treat. This early 1800s house defies description so we’ll just leave it at “charming”. We felt like we were back home again!
