Location is great, large house, and needs a lot of upgrades.

Favorite House for Family Fall Break

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our extended family spends fall break on HHI each year. We have stayed in several homes in Sea Pines, and this one is our favorite. It's perfect for adults and older children. The pool and grounds were beautiful, and each room was tastefully decorated. We loved the eclectic design of the house.

Loved the location

Location was great! Stayed in sea pines several times before. House wasn’t quite up to par. Water damage was apparent throughout the house. Un-painted, un-sanded Sheetrock everywhere. Pool deck and hot tub were in need of repair. Garage was accessible but not usable for cars. Too much junk to park a car. Air conditioner kept freezing up and water heater kept leaking into the kitchen. Not worth what we paid!

Sorely in need of maintenance

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The beachfront location is wonderful; the layout of the house works very well for a large group. Other than that, the house is a disaster in every way. Rotted wood on the exterior, mildew smell on the interior, food stains on the kitchen walls, duct tape holding together the glass on the kitchen table. Multiple lightbulbs out, insufficient silverware for a large group, upstairs dryer vents into the room heating up the entire upstairs. One small damaged umbrella is the only shade outdoors. Nails stick up from the wooden boardwalk, slicing someone's toe. Avoid this house.
