A clean, comfortable, and relatively private, (we did notice at least 3 cameras /outside/ the barndo, and there is signage warning the property is monitored), jumping-off point for enjoying Kansas City and the surrounding area. Property was in very good condition inside and out. The odd mystery light switch or bad bulb is par for the course in rentals and didn’t affect our stay. All the appliances, dishes, fixtures, towels, and linens were in good shape, too! It’s rare to find a rental thus well-kept. Kristen is also a friendly and communicative host.

Loved the area and the quietness of the property. Internet was spotty but we weren’t there to be on our phones or electronics. Loved the stocked kitchen and the play toys in the garage. My boys loved playing soccer tennis!

We have had multiple stays here when visiting the KC area. It’s a quiet, secluded spot but still very close to the city. Lovely property. Will definitely come back in the future

If you are looking for a place/space to facilitate wedding preparations, this place is great. The large "garage/barn" space was perfect to create 25 floral centerpieces for my granddaughter's wedding --- concrete floor, plenty of storage room, easy to clean. Nestled in amongst the woods, it was a quiet, peaceful setting in the midst of all of our prep work! Great kitchen, too. Had to get out of the building and in the driveway to get cell signal, but that added to the merriment of the weekend. Plenty of parking area for the family members that came to help/have lunch.

It was amazing! Things to do they had outdoor activities. Enough stuff to keep all the kids occupied! We plan on renting again in future! The nature itself was enough. Everything we needed to be comfortable like we were home.

Great place to stay. It’s close to the city but it feels like your out in the country. It’s one of our favorite places to stay for the weekend.

Close to main streets in Blue Springs, but felt like we were in a secluded wooded area. The Barndo was clean, the beds were comfortable, and nice open living room into kitchen area to hang out in. Enjoyed walking the trails to the creek. The wifi is spotty, and an issue we encountered the host tried to fix quickly. Just 5 mins down the road was a great taco restaurant and brewery that was a fun outing. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
