Enjoy lake living at one of the newest lakefront neighborhoods on Tim`s Ford Lake. This cozy cottage is in a beautiful gated community and has lake views from the front porch. It is only a 1 min walk to the community pool overlooking the lake and direct lake access for kayaks and paddleboards that we include for you! This beautiful home will also boast a hot tub, fire pit, and game room for your family to enjoy! You are also centrally located and only 5 minutes from Twin Creeks Marina and downtown!

-This is beautiful boutique gated community that is lake front and has lake access and a pool over looking the lake!
-The pool and kayak launch are 1 minute walk, about 100 yards from the home. The pool is seasonal and available Memorial Day-Labor Day.
-This is an amazing cottage right next to the lake. This is an amazing cottage right next to the lake. The master with a king bed and 2 bathrooms are downstairs along with a pullout couch and queen floor mattress that you can layout. 2 bedroomswith queen beds, game room, and work space are upstairs.

-Enjoy the nearby pleasure`s of Walnut Hill Coffee Shop or have lunch/dinner at Filo`s at the Winchester Town Square.
-Jack Daniel`s Distillery is a short drive away where you can embark on a tour and tasting.
-Tim`s Ford State Park offers scenic views, walking trails, and golf at Bear Trace.
-Elk River offers Trout fishing and kayak/canoe excursions
There is NO parking outside of the driveway. Driveway is suitable for 4 compact cars or 2 suvs/trucks/normal size cars.

We had a great time staying at the Cozy Lake Cottage! We were only here for a quick two nights for a family wedding. I wish we had more time because the location was great! The lake and neighborhood pool looked awesome. The house was clean and the hosts were easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again!

The cottage was exactly like the photos. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed visiting downtown and Jack Daniel's Distillery. The hosts Justin and Derrick were very friendly and quick to respond. Highly recommend!

Cute House with a great location

We loved staying at the Barefoot Way property. The property owners were extremely communicative and kind. The house was clean with lots to do not only at the house but also on the property. Neighborhood was safe & quite with a great view of the lake. We enjoyed our stay and just spending time playing the games offered at the home! We will definitely stay here next time we come to visit!

Room for improvement

The house itself was new, & very nice, but we did have some issues that really needed to be addressed. First the most important part is the master bedroom had no blinds on the windows above the bed. So on our first night there, the room was lit up like the Las Vegas strip.. They can also improve on the mattress. It was definitely uncomfortable. We then tried to sleep upstairs, but there is no bathroom on the second floor so if you’re sleeping up there, you have to go down in the middle of the night, which isn’t conducive for good sleep. My next suggestion would be to get an ironing board & iron so guests could look presentable if they head out. Lastly, if you wanted to go into the hot tub, there really isn’t much privacy.

Vince, thank you for your feedback as our goal is to ensure everyone has a great stay. I'll address your issues below. 1)The master bedroom main window does have curtains so you have full privacy, no one can see in the room. The windows you are speaking of are very small sky lights and are meant to be open to allow light in the room and are cleary depicted in the listing photos. There is one street light on the road behind the home. 2)The master king bed and mattress are only 1-1.5 yrs old and everyone is different on their mattress preferences. We haven't had any negative feedback on mattresses in the home, but we will address them immediately if we have other guests share your opinion. 3)The two bathrooms are downstairs, but their isn't anything we can do to change the structure. I don't believe the bathroom location itself would impact your quality of sleep. 4)We will get an iron and ironing board to the home immediately. In the future if you ever need anything when staying at any of our homes please let us know and we will do our best to get it to you right away. 5)The listing does clearly state the homes are close together and the 4th picture on the listing shows the hot tub in relation to the homes that are nearby so you are aware of privacy expectations.
