We stayed in this condo for the month of January. Right off there was an uncomfortable issue with the way the uniit next door can see into our bedroom from their lanai, hear everything we say (as we heard them) from the living room. We felt we had to close our slider when we watched tv so it wouldn’t bother them. Regarding TV, when watching Netflix, it would stop and buffer every 15 minutes, so we’d have to go back to the beginning and restart the program. Halfway through the month, the refrigerator/freezer quit working. After several texts to the owner, he agreed it really was broken and said he bought another one but it wouldn’t be delivered until the day before we were to leave. We were without the refrigerator for 12 days. Luckily, there was a tiny wine frig which kept my husbands insulin cold, but we had to throw away spoiled food, get a cooler and buy ice everyday to keep some small amount of food on hand. Grocery shopping everyday is not convenient. At the end of our stay, the new refrigerator did arrive, but too late for us to benefit. I contacted Herbert, the owner and appealed to him to refund a part of our months rent due to our inconvenience and he offered $500. I agreed to accept his offer. Sadly, I have contacted him three times regarding how he wishes to refund the money to us and he has not responded. I will remove this review when he upholds what he said he would do.
