Welcome to Cozy Lux Mountain Cottage, a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom cottage in Big Bear Lake. Here you can find your serenity at our stylish & spacious place in the Boulder Bay neighborhood of Big Bear Lake. Our place brings modern-lux with a country cottage feel. Come and enjoy a fun getaway with the whole family where majestic mountain nature meets year-round activities, like skiing, biking, hiking, lake water sports, fishing & more... with all the amenities of being at home!

Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen has everything you need with a drip coffee maker and coffee & tea provided for your stay. We keep plenty of serving dishes, multiple styles of mugs and drink ware (wine glasses, beer mugs, shot glasses), salad spinner, salad bowls, cookware (strainers, cutting boards, lime squeezer), etc. The number of plates is up to 14 plates, bowls, small plates, etc. Plenty of cabinets, stocked with Tupperware and disposable zip lock bags, etc.

Living room: Gas fireplace, Wi-Fi, Smart TV for streaming, large sectional and photo books of Big Bear, Tic-Tac-Toe game and an 8-person dining table.

Master Bedroom: Featuring one Queen size bed and two reading lights on each bed side, one full size dresser, mirror on dresser and clothes hangar on back of door.

Bedroom 2: Featuring one Queen size bed with a Full size Bunk Bed, one full size dresser,mirror on dresser, two lamps, clothes hangar on back of door.
Bedroom 3: Featuring one bunk bed (two single beds) and an extra mattress (under the bunk bed)
that can be used to sleep a third person. There is a soft chair for one. The closet in the 3rd bedroom has lots of board games and play stuff, also stores the baby/toddler pack-n-play, toddler
gates, and iron/ironing board.

Bathroom 1: Large shower, full size vanity, toilet, and towel racks (stocked with towel sets,
toiletries, etc.)

Bathroom 2: Bathtub, vanity, toilet, (stocked with towels, toiletries, etc.)

Main entries: Coat closet next to front door, and Sitting Bench next to side/carport door (with
coat rack)

Outdoor space: Hot tub, propane BBQ, Small ropes course for kids only and a Badminton set.

Big Bear Lake West is the first area visitors coming up the mountain from highway 330 and the 18 travel through. Starting at the Big Bear Lake Dam, this area stretches all the way to Metcalf Bay and includes Pleasure Point Marina, Boulder Bay, Fisher Cove and Treasure Island. This area has a mixture of older, well-maintained, modern and lakefront estates. Most homes are second homes or Big Bear Lake vacation rentals, but many local residents are proud to call this area home. Lots are generally level but there are several sloped parcels offering beautiful lake views. Hiking trails are within easy reach and include Castle Rock, Champion Lodgepole Trail, Bluff Lake and Siberia Creek Trail. The area is largely residential and conveniences are limited to a few mom-and-pop stores and restaurants. This area is the perfect area for feeling like you are getting away to the mountains and lake in a cabin rental.

The house is close to the ski shuttle pick-up spot, and just minutes from grocery stores, restaurants, and the Village. You can walk or bike up to mountain trails or down to the lake.

Free Big Bear Trolley:

Mountain Transit's Free Big Bear Trolley service offers convenient and reliable transportation for both locals and visitors to help eliminate traffic congestion and car pollution in the Valley.

Traffic and illegal parking are a significant issue for Big Bear during the busy winter and summer seasons. We encourage everyone to leave their vehicles at their homes or rentals and hop on the Free Big Bear Trolley to navigate the town.

Three new routes have been specially designed to make accessing restaurants, grocery stores, retail shops, ski resorts, snow play areas, parks and work easy and efficient.

To comply with our city permit, there is a $35 charge for dish cleaning in case they are not washed before your check-out.

If there is trash in the property, there will be an additional charge of $25 per bag.

Any guest that violates county or city rules as outlined in our 'things to know' and 'house rules' sections will be subject to paying a $350 call code attendance fee by our 24:7 call compliance staff in addition to any fines levied by the city, whether it results in a violation or not.

The City law requires you to sign a rental agreement and the Good Neighbor Brochure to obtain the code to the property as well as provide a copy in the app of your Governmental ID that matches the name of the reservation
No pets $3500 fine plus damages
No smoking inside $3500 plus damages
No hot tub use after 10pm per the law any time a spa is left open more than 30 mins a fine of $250 per hour will be due plus damages to the spa as this can result in a severe issue - if a user error or maintenance is refused to verify a spa issue or if we have to dump and fill water prior to your stay due to cleanliness requirements - we cannot be held liable nor grant refunds for a spa not being at the temperature desired or if left uncovered - if we have to dump the water it can take 24 hours for it to warm up
No over occupancy - $500 per person over occupancy fine plus damages no street parking at any time this is separate and apart from any fines issued by the city for going over occupancy, music heard at the property line, noise after 10pm and dogs left at the property along with $25 per bag trash rule due to the City of Big Bear Lake laws
No events or parties - any party will incur $5,000 fine plus immediate eviction same with smoking or pets - owner is highly allergic
$25 per bag of trash left in the fridge, in kitchen or onsite anywhere - this is the law and we must abide by it
$45 dirty dishes fee - our housekeepers will unload dishes or put them away but do not wash dishes or dump trash per the law
