Unsanitary conditions, unresponsive property manager
We arrived at 4pm for check in but after several calls and messages we finally heard back that the cabin was not ready. We sat around waiting for hours, which forced us to miss out on our night skiing plans. We called several times and left several messages trying to connect with a person, wondering if our family would have a place to sleep that night or if we needed to find something else. Hours later we received an email message with lock box info to get into the cabin. After entering the cabin we were surprised to find it was left uncleaned from the last guests. There were used towels on the beds and in the bathroom, none of the beds were made and it was clear they had just been slept in. We also found food in one of the beds as well as rotten bananas and dirty dishes in the sink. We reached out to the front desk and there was no response. We were forced to find alternate accommodations. We notified the front desk, and were told someone would reach out, but have still yet to hear back about our experience and expected refund.

Mediocre Stay, Great Management
We stayed at this property for the Thanksgiving holiday. Management was extremely communicative and helpful. We arrived in the evening, and everything appeared to be as expected. Our puppy started to run around the place and began to find scattered pieces of trash - a half eaten biscuit and the head of a toothpick flosser. The remaining house appeared clean. However, as we started to use the kitchen, we noticed the dishes, which had all been hand washed, were not cleaned thoroughly and had bits of food still stuck to them. We had to rewash everything we used. The bed in the master bedroom was a bit lumpy and uncomfortable. The worst part about the stay here was the complete lack of temperature regulation. Although the place had central heat, the downstairs area would remain freezing and the upstairs rooms would become like dry, hot saunas. It was extremely difficult to sleep in these conditions. The water was the same - the cold water was ice cold and the hot water was boiling hot. There was no inbetween making things like washing our hands or showering a game of how not to boil off our skin. The living room, while nicely furnished, was very poorly lit. I am not sure how they make it seem lit in the photos online, but there were two tiny lamps that barely lit the space in the evening. We used the fireplace, but the shaft wouldn't open fully, and this filled the place w smoke. The jacuzzi wouldn't heat fully. This stay was below avg, 3/5 for mngmnt; I hope changes will be made
