The home was a work in progress with no frills. It could have some extra dishes for the 8 of us that stayed there. It was very hot when we were there so the upstairs bedrooms were very warm. It was a great location to visit Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Presidential Library. We did enjoy the Belfield swim pool after our long day of hiking.
Great location for us while we visited the National Park. Location was right off the interstate yet quiet and safe. The home was very nice, clean and well appointed. We were all pleased with our decision to stay here.
Stepped into house & almost fell. Had hands full 2nd time & did fall. Hurt my knee, step is too high. Front door lock is loose. It needs to be fixed so lock will work. Thought it was one level. Nothing in listing to indicate 3rd bed & 2nd bath are in basement. Should be required as some people have a hard time with stairs. Step down into the basement bedroom is steep. Had to hunt for towels, washcloths, hand towels. Found 2 washcloths, 4 hand towels, lots of bath towels in cabinet over dryer. No kitchen towels. 1 wet washcloth in basement shower on the faucet handle. Bar of soap in the basement shower was soapy with hairs on it. Shower floor was visibly dirty. Sink dirty. Almost-empty bottles of wash, shampoo, conditioner. No fans or AC in the bedrooms. Basement had portable fan. Basement bath door won’t shut. Sit on the potty & lean back you’ll bang your head on cabinet. Cover for the heater is torn off in the basement bath. There is no toilet paper holder in either bathroom. Searched for toilet paper. Called owner. Brought us one roll for each bathroom. Nice washer & dryer. Some soap & dryer sheets.Large, clean refrigerator.Living room is cool w/comfy furniture. No lamps. No place to put suitcase or anything else in the bedrooms except on floor. 1 small nightstand with a few plugins & USB port in bedrooms. No lamps. Turn off the light, use your flashlight to find bed.Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. Dirty pan in cabinet. We did not cook.No more room…
Quiet neighborhood and close to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Beds were comfortable and we found most of what we needed. Nice to have this option instead of paying for two hotel rooms.
Quiet location near to area attractions. Communication with property manager was excellent. We had an issue shortly after arriving, and Kyle was there within 30 minutes to make sure the problem was addressed. The house was a comfortable place to rest after our visit to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. We loved the North Unit so much!
Perfect location for enjoying both TRNP locations. House was clean and had all basic cooking necessities. The air conditioner was in the living room, and would have been nice to have fans in bedrooms to help circulate the air. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.
Property was as described. Very clean and comfortable. Short drive to Medora and the National Park. Home had everything we needed for our visit to the area. Kyle responded quickly to our messages.
This property was conveniently located to Teddy Roosevelt National Park. It was in a quiet and safe neighborhood. The house was nicely furnished and comfortable. It would’ve been nice to have fans in the bedrooms since the AC unit was in the main living area.
Great stay right outside of Medora! House was really nicely remodeled and in a great spot about 20 minutes out of Medora. I stayed with my parents and aunt and it was a great place to spend time with family while visiting Medora. It ended up raining, so we spent more time at the house than we planned, but it ended up working out so well because the living room was cozy. We also brought my Golden Retriever, so it was a great dog-friendly option. Would stay again!
Very clean house and well-supplied. Location is great for visiting both National Park units. Neighborhood is ok. Note for summer: bedrooms have no A/C circulation (unit cools main living area and kitchen; whole house does have heat). Bring a nightlight if you plan on using basement bedroom.
The renovations that have been done in the house were a nice touch. The kitchen and bathrooms were clean. It is obvious that it’s a pet friendly property because there were remnants of dog hair on carpet and around baseboards.
Everything was clean. The light above kitchen table did not work. I would recommend either a chair or luggage rack in bedrooms, garbages needed in bedrooms, and more towels for 7 people. Easy to find, nice location, very good communication, nice people to work with. Beds were comfortable!
Came to spend a few days in Theodore Roosevelt National Park and the location for that was great. We were just a 20 minute drive from the park. House was very clean and comfortable and met all our needs. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in
Disliked: Location
Two close to other neighbors, very loud not what I got from VRBO in the past. Also couldn't use my key cash so I lost.
Comfortable beds, great location, amenities need improvement
Overall we really enjoyed our stay in Belfield. The beds were honestly some of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve had in a rental. The space was exactly as advertised. What’s missing are some basic amenities I’ve come to expect in a VRBO (some coffee and filters, dishwasher soap, hair dryer). I would definitely stay here again, but plan on bringing everything we need.
