Waterfront Cabin - Hot Tub - Free Bikes, Kyaks, Canoes, Paddle, & Fishing Boats!
This very small 400 square-foot rustic log cabin is ideally suited for 2 people as a "couple's get-away." There is a private bedroom with a double bed. There is also a futon sofa bed in the living room area that sleeps 2 adults comfortably. (The loft will sleep 2 children as well.) The kitchenette features a hot and cold running sink, a 2-top burner stove, and a small refrigerator with an even smaller freezer. There is also a microwave oven. A 2-top slab of wood serves as a dining room table along with 2 wooden swivel chairs. The bathroom features a wooden bathtub that you sit in to bathe using a hand-held showerhead. The toilet is a turn-of-the-century brass hand-pump "ship head" mounted on a tree trunk. The wash basin is also made out of an old log we found in the woods. The front porch, which is a mere 20 feet from the water's edge, has a log sofa, a 2-top table with chairs, and a 2-person hot tub. It overlooks your own small private island as well as several other islands that you can navigate using our complimentary kayaks, canoes, paddleboats, and electric fishing boats. We also have complimentary bicycles of every size to use while you're on the 10-mile-long wooded hiking and biking trail that abuts our property and winds along the river. Hope this brief description helps you make your decision to join us! Parker & Cathy

Charming and welcoming it was the perefect weekend. We fell in love with the property and the hosts. Our hosts welcomed us like we were family. Clean and comfortable.
Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
The cabin was definitely a place where rustic meets modern! Bedding, bathroom & hot tub very clean. TV & microwave looked new.
The rest of the place felt much more like a rustic cabin. Bathroom was very unique! My husband & I loved the quiet & were able to unwind in the hot tub under the bare trees of winter as the river gently rolled by. Just what we needed!
Finding the entrance was tricky. Felt like we were turning into someones drive way. Trust the gps & get there before nightfall.
Our hosts were great! There if we needed anything but otherwise left us alone to enjoy the peace & quiet.
Peaceful, relaxing. Beautiful setting on Maumee river. Thoroughly enjoyed the water fowl, walking path, campfire. Slice of heaven. Parker the host is amazing. Can’t wait to go back
This cabin was just up our alley, right next to the Maumee River. Quite, peaceful, and rustic. The bathtub looks like they took a log and made a tub out of it. The toilet is one of a kind, it sits on a stump of wood and you hand pump it to flush. They have kayaks, canoes, and electric boats that come with renting the property. If you are a person that loves the outdoors this is the place to stay.
What a fun and eclectic little cabin on the river! We stayed just one night when we were in town to visit BGSU and were absolutely delighted by this cabin and our host, Parker. Its proximity to the river and the towpath as well as being close enough to town to run out and grab takeout made it the perfect location. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks for the great stay!

Don’t waste your money
So disappointed in our stay. No accurate direction on how to find this cabin. No running water in the bathroom, other than the tub. This was not disclosed! Electricity was back fed to the cabin (huge fire hazard - would have left if we hadn’t arrived after dark and seen it). No insulation and a metal roof, so it poured during the night and woke us instantly. Also, the microwave would blow the fuse every 20 seconds, so it was useless. Wi-Fi was in and out. No privacy for hot tub on porch with neighbors out having fires. Overall, I really disappointing way to spend an anniversary and night away. Really sad I wasted the money.
