About this property
Waterfront Cabin - Hot Tub - Free Bikes, Kyaks, Canoes, Paddle, & Fishing Boats!
This very small 400 square-foot rustic log cabin is ideally suited for 2 people as a "couple's get-away." There is a private bedroom with a double bed. There is also a futon sofa bed in the living room area that sleeps 2 adults comfortably. (The loft will sleep 2 children as well.) The kitchenette features a hot and cold running sink, a 2-top burner stove, and a small refrigerator with an even smaller freezer. There is also a microwave oven. A 2-top slab of wood serves as a dining room table along with 2 wooden swivel chairs. The bathroom features a wooden bathtub that you sit in to bathe using a hand-held showerhead. The toilet is a turn-of-the-century brass hand-pump "ship head" mounted on a tree trunk. The wash basin is also made out of an old log we found in the woods. The front porch, which is a mere 20 feet from the water's edge, has a log sofa, a 2-top table with chairs, and a 2-person hot tub. It overlooks your own small private island as well as several other islands that you can navigate using our complimentary kayaks, canoes, paddleboats, and electric fishing boats. We also have complimentary bicycles of every size to use while you're on the 10-mile-long wooded hiking and biking trail that abuts our property and winds along the river. Hope this brief description helps you make your decision to join us! Parker & Cathy

Wonderful stay and the owners are so nice! Loved the water front view from the living room. Wish the weather was better to enjoy the kayaks. We would definitely stay again!! We enjoyed the snacks also!!
Host were amazing, was rustic and peaceful. Enjoyed the little cabin the fishing was awesome. If you go here and say ya didn't catch a fish, ya must not know how to fish. I would recommend this little hidden gem.
Parker and Cathy were beyond terrific. It was so relaxing and a much needed time away. Everything was clean and the house was equipped with anything you would. The history, I never knew and loved learning about
Greeted by Parker on arrival and he showed us the ropes. The whole area is lovely - the cabins, river, nature trail, walking path. It was an experience well absolutely have again in the near future!!
we had a wonderful time! Parker was so helpful and kind, we will 100% be back next summer, couldn’t have been any more beautiful, it was even better than I expected! the kayaks, boats and all other amenities included made this trip more than worth it! great place to fish and relax away from the world :)
We realy enjoyed our stay. I only wish we could have used the fabulas tub they show in the pictures. The water presure for the hand held in the tub was unusable. That being said, the views were to die for. Wonderful river
Charming and welcoming it was the perefect weekend. We fell in love with the property and the hosts. Our hosts welcomed us like we were family. Clean and comfortable.
Peaceful, relaxing. Beautiful setting on Maumee river. Thoroughly enjoyed the water fowl, walking path, campfire. Slice of heaven. Parker the host is amazing. Can’t wait to go back
What a fun and eclectic little cabin on the river! We stayed just one night when we were in town to visit BGSU and were absolutely delighted by this cabin and our host, Parker. Its proximity to the river and the towpath as well as being close enough to town to run out and grab takeout made it the perfect location. Can’t wait to come back! Thanks for the great stay!
This place is amazing! The view from our cabin was beautiful and the hot tub is on the deck overlooking the fabulous views. Parker Hanson met us at our car, he gave us a personal tour of camp love. My sister and I got to walk through several other cabins which were also beautiful. Parker even took pictures of us in and in front of the vw bus on the property. The only negative thing was our length of stay, I wish we could of stayed several days longer to enjoy the bikes, kayaks, and boats. Thank you Parker for the great experience at your beautiful park.
This cabin was just up our alley, right next to the Maumee River. Quite, peaceful, and rustic. The bathtub looks like they took a log and made a tub out of it. The toilet is one of a kind, it sits on a stump of wood and you hand pump it to flush. They have kayaks, canoes, and electric boats that come with renting the property. If you are a person that loves the outdoors this is the place to stay.

The cabin was definitely a place where rustic meets modern! Bedding, bathroom & hot tub very clean. TV & microwave looked new.
The rest of the place felt much more like a rustic cabin. Bathroom was very unique! My husband & I loved the quiet & were able to unwind in the hot tub under the bare trees of winter as the river gently rolled by. Just what we needed!
Finding the entrance was tricky. Felt like we were turning into someones drive way. Trust the gps & get there before nightfall.
Our hosts were great! There if we needed anything but otherwise left us alone to enjoy the peace & quiet.
This was a cute cabin. It's small, but it was just me and my dog, so it worked well. The bathroom situation was exactly as advertised but not as bad as I thought it would be. The tub was adorable. If you plan to cook, bring cold items or things you can microwave. That worked the best, although there is a stovetop and an air fryer. The best part of the cabin was the deck. It was in the shade, overlooked the river, had a lovely hot tub, and had gates you could close so your dog doesn't wander. Those were greatly appreciated! The boat launch is also right by the cabin making kayaking easy. There were plenty of kayaks, paddles, life jackets, bikes, etc. to choose from. The hiking trail is also right there.Best of all are the hosts. Parker and Cathy are very sweet. I would recommend.

Don’t waste your money
So disappointed in our stay. No accurate direction on how to find this cabin. No running water in the bathroom, other than the tub. This was not disclosed! Electricity was back fed to the cabin (huge fire hazard - would have left if we hadn’t arrived after dark and seen it). No insulation and a metal roof, so it poured during the night and woke us instantly. Also, the microwave would blow the fuse every 20 seconds, so it was useless. Wi-Fi was in and out. No privacy for hot tub on porch with neighbors out having fires. Overall, I really disappointing way to spend an anniversary and night away. Really sad I wasted the money.
This is a great little cabin, and very charming! There are a lot of bikes for all to share, as well individual and group kayaks/canoes. We loved taking the fishing boat out! Parker was really helpful. There was a little hiccup at check in, but he was quick to make it right. The cabin does butt up against another few places, so it wasn't as secluded as we'd hoped but it was still really nice. You cannot actually fill the bathtub up, its just to rinse off in with the shower handle. Warm water doesn't last too long, so make it quick! Overall, this is a great spot to spend some time away with someone special.
This was such a great little getaway! From check in to check out, everything was so smooth and relaxed and the hosts were FANTASTIC! The cabin was clean and stocked, the host was there upon arrival to greet us, the water access and water accessories that were provided could not have been better! We took our dog with us (80lb medium size) and she was made to feel so welcome and comfortable. The personal 2 person hot tub was so romantic for my husband and I would definitely recommend!!!
