Fantastic penthouse - so clean. Great furnishings; plenty of towels, sheets, seating. Loved the views from the roof-top deck. Hugo was super responsive and helpful. Security gate staff were friendly and helpful. Pools were relaxing. Location was super convenient. Easy Ubering around.

Great location, great apartment!

We had an awesome time at this location! The apartment is amazing....e xactly the way it is described on the website and more!!!! Everything one needs on holiday is in there! It's also very convenient and well located! 15 minutes walk to Walmart; 15 minutes walk to downtown Cabo, 5 minutes walk to Medano Beach. We would definitely recommend it.... and would probably go back there! Thanks Lisa!

Fabulous place to stay in Cabo

This condo is just wonderful. It is beautiful inside and out, and even better than what you see in the pictures. The rooftop with a hot tub and views of the ocean make it roomy and better than most other condos in the area. It is centrally located, and you could walk to many of the Cabo favorites if you wanted. We had a rental car which was a nice addition for our vacation. Lisa was wonderful to work with, and Hugo was a great property manager. We would highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a great place to stay during a Cabo visit.

Wow in Cabo!

We enjoyed a wonderful week in Cabo at this beautifully appointed condo! Great location, lovely condo with everything we needed, and we can't say enough about Hugo, who manages the condo. He is awesome! Very personable and efficient! We loved whale watching with Cabo Expeditions. We had incredible dinners at: Peacock's, Ole Ole, The Office, Pan Di Bocco, and Maro 's Shrimp House. Best handmade maragritas are at The Monkey Business Bar!

VERY IMPRESSED!

We were very impressed with the entire experience. Hugo is super cool and met us when we arrived….helped us with our luggage, had a few cold coronas waiting for us in the fridge, and walked us through the condo. Everything is new including the condo itself. High ceilings, granite counters, stainless steel appliances, fully equipped with everything you need….even had a washer/dryer in unit. We didn't even get to use the condo to its full potential! I recommend this place highly. Owner is accessible and attentive. "Private" roof top deck with hot-tub was awesome…you can watch the cruise ships pulling into the Cabo Bay. I plan on coming back and most likely staying much longer next time. You could easily spend a month here no problem. The master bedroom is awesome with a jet tub, separate shower & more. Do it!

Great vacation property

We had a great stay at the condo. The property was certainly as good, if not better, than depicted in the pictures. The condo is well appointed and impressively clean. The finishes are high end and it had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. The owner was very accommodating and the property manager, Hugo, was very helpful and insightful. He was a gracious host and made us feel welcome and safe. We traveled with older children, 25,23,and 20. We enjoyed the decks and hot tub. The condo is just a block from the public beach and walking distance to downtown. We used a taxi on occasion, such as when carting groceries home from Walmart, but typically walked most places. We enjoyed many of the restaurants suggested by the owner. We loved the convenience of Tobascos on the beach. We have typically done resort vacations so this offered a larger living area to relax in which was much enjoyed. The only downside of the condo was the noise from the street on a couple of the nights. Otherwise it was perfect. I would definitely recommend to others.

Beautiful condo, great location, great owner.

I was very impressed with the condo itself. It was clean, well-kept, large, and there were no neighbors to contend with (we came off season). Pool access, beach access, and the walk to downtown cabo was close-by. During our stay, there was an issue with the pipe and we had no hot water, however, the owner was on top of it, despite being in the US and the time difference. I really appreciated her care and concern. The two reasons I give this location 4 stars instead of 5 is that there is a public park across the street and during our stay, locals would party (playing loud music with car doors open) and drag race in this park at all hours of the night, and I mean ALL HOURS EVERY DAY. At one point, I was so thankful that the cops came to break it up. You are on the sixth floor of a gated community, so this does not affect you with the exception of the noise level (we were traveling with a kid). If you don't mind the noise, then I highly, highly, recommend this great spot. The other reason is that the dishwasher does not wash dishes at all (I mean crust left on dishes regardless of pre-washing and multiple cycles). In the grand scheme of things, this is a minor issue given the beauty and location of this place.

Great place, but a little out of the way and no TV, spotty WiFi

The place is great for relaxing, but about 30 minutes walking to Medano Beach and 25 min walk to Puerto Paraiso. OK for winter, not so for Spring or Summer. The value is ok, not a bargain due to location. Be ready to pay $12-15 USD each Taxi ride to downtown or beach. Or walk a couple of blocks and take the urban buses for only 13 pesos. We were traveling with 2 young boys. We appreciated the extra space and bathrooms with good water pressure for showers. We definitely would suggest a "garrafon" of drinking water for the kitchen which most rentals throughout Baja have. It was just a pain to have to go to the store daily and over pay for drinking water. The jacuzzi upstairs was good, but definitely use at your own risk as bacteria level is high. It is very challenging to control the bacteria levels in the US, and more so in Mexico. TV never worked properly. Streaming kept freezing. Then again, this happens quite often across Baja. Not the owners fault. Last but not least. Property is very safe as is the building. Hugo, the manager was exceptional and he was the go to man for local info and restaurant recommendations as well as transport.

Drag racing, loud music and loitering, do not stay here!

The review that attempts to discount the drag racing that goes on in front of this building is completely inaccurate. Drag racing happens Friday and Saturday beginning around 2am and doesn't end until 5am! Locals also park in the red zone and front gate area of the building and blast loud music out of sub woofers. The security guard can't do anything, why.?? The police won't come and run them off, this maniacal behavior has been going on for years according to local residents. Now let's talk about the owner being complicit in covering up and not compensating guests for a horrible visit. I took photos of the earplugs that they put in the side tables in the bedroom. When I spoke to the concierge, Hugo after not sleeping 2 nights in a row, he gave a very polite version of "tough --". The owner will gladly take your money and be done with you. The kitchen has old incomplete set of dishes, we couldn't find 4 matching glasses to set the table. The air conditioner is on a governor controlled remotely by the concierge. I hope to spare future renters from the horrible experience and will continue to post about this building. No one likes being punked, just be upfront about the noise Lisa, preferably BEFORE you take someone's money.

Gorgeous, Comfortable Condo Minutes from Beach

We loved the condo and enjoyed spending time there. It was beautiful and had everything we needed. Lisa and Hugo were very helpful ahead of time and arranging a driver from the airport ($80 each way, including a 30 minute stop for groceries). Keep in mind that it is about a 30 mile drive from the airport to town. The condo is just a few minute walk to the beautiful Medano Beach. We would rent an umbrella (or two) for our family of four and be comfortable in the shade at the beach all day. Tasbasco's (the first restaurant you see at the beach) would even bring lunch to us under our umbrella. It was lovely. The walk to "town" or the marina is a bit further (15 minutes or so), either along back streets (where sidewalks stop and start) or along a busy arterial. We did not use cabs to get to town, but can see how some people would. At the condo, we enjoyed watching the soccer games across the street while relaxing in the late afternoon on the rooftop patio. The view is wonderful, with the beach in one direction and mountains in the other. However, the locals congregate on the street in front of the condo every night after about 10:30, playing loud music and drag racing on the street in front. It's much worse on the weekend. On Saturday evening, this went on until almost 5 a.m. It is loud and very difficult to sleep in the front (master) bedroom. Our kids in the back bedroom were not bothered at all. We happened to have earplugs, which did help some. The security guard at the condo told my husband that he called the police three times one night. Each time they came, the noise improved slightly for a short term, but it never really stopped. If you rent this condo, bring earplugs!

Fantastic place, great location!

We recently rented this condo and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the location was how clean and nicely decorated the inside of the condo was and also how close it was to the beach. I felt extremely safe with this being a gated complex. It is very well-kept up. The condo is very spacious and fairly well appointed. It was an awesome place to run around for the day and come back and relax and jump into the Jacuzzi in the evening. I know some people have said that it was loud and I didn't experience that past 10 o'clock on any evening. The condo building itself is extremely quiet. I rarely saw anyone else and I didn't hear anything from the units on either side of us. The guys who work at the gate were very helpful calling taxis for us. I do have to give a huge thank you to Hugo. He greeted us, he made our arrival special and he was very helpful in making recommendations and offering to book various excursions. I would say he definitely went the extra mile. We did the pre-arrange travel and I like that very much. I would highly recommend renting this unit – it has a beautiful view of the beach from the rooftop balcony as well as a nice view from the condo balcony as well. The only suggestion that I would have is when the owner has the opportunity to switch out the mattresses in the second bedroom they should because they are on the hard side. when I come back I would absolutely consider renting the same condo again. Some advice for people who may be coming down for a visit – you do have the opportunity to go grocery shopping. You could save a little money by having breakfast and snacks in your room. I would recommend getting more water than you think is necessary. I also would recommend having plenty of cash for tips and buying things on the beach. In the US we rarely carry cash and in Mexico there are ATMs around but not plentiful and they only give out pesos. You can shop anywhere including the beach with US dollars so I think having cash is very helpful .

Great accomodations; excellent service

We had a great time in Cabo and highly recommend this property (though perhaps we should keep it secret instead!). Lisa was very responsive to booking questions and the property manager, Hugo, contacted us the week before our travels to arrange transportation to/from the condo. The arranged transportation is worth it due to distance and reliability. We stopped en route to the condo for groceries as well. Hugo checked in a couple times during the week by text and also arranged an excursion to ride dune buggies in the desert for a day, which was great fun. Hugo is very organized, friendly, and quite sincere in his desire for you to have an enjoyable time. I thought it might be helpful to address a few previous reviews, since I personally find the reviews very helpful in my selection of properties on VRBO: 1. Location: One block from Medano Beach. The condo is close enough to enjoy the town "center" but also away from the fray if you just want some relaxation or a more family-oriented stay. We had our teenager in tow during spring break week, so it was nice to be outside of the student hotels and bar zone. 2. Safety: We took the ~15 minute walk into the center several times; we walked along back roads at all hours of day and night and never felt unsafe. We did notice the police out in full force, perhaps due to spring break....they were controlling crowds and keeping an eye on students who had over-indulged while not spoiling the fun (not an easy job). 2. Noise: One previous reviewer commented on drag racing on the street outside the condo, but that isn't even possible due to speed bumps. You do hear normal street noise...and construction vehicles start rolling at daybreak. If you're not accustomed to street sounds, you might want earplugs for the master bedroom; we slept great with just the slightest awareness of the construction trucks. Each evening, there are youth soccer games across the street but we enjoyed watching from the balcony. They appeared to be organized leagues and were energetic but not rowdy. 4. Accomodations: The condo is very spacious and tastefully decorated. There is a gated entrance with 24-hour security guards (who will kindly call a cab if you need one). Overall: great blend of fun and relaxation in Cabo for our family; we'll visit again!

Better than the pics

We also own a VRBO property in Destin Florida so please understand we set a high bar. I cannot say enough for the property manager Hugo. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. He met us at the condo and welcomed us into one of the most gorgeous condos I've ever been in with chips guacamole and cerveza. Trust me the pictures do not compare to how immaculate this place is. My feet squeaked against the floor the entire time because it was so clean! The rooftop area was beyond gorgeous. All of the beds were comfortable with many choices of pillows. I would absolutely stay here again. The area is walkable to a swimable beach and a few different choices of restaurants. The property management team can help you with any touristy undertakings you would love to do. More than 5 stars it was a great vacation.

Luxurious Condo

A luxurious, extremely well-equipped condominium. A block from the beach. The rooftop with patio furniture and a hot tub is a real plus. Hugo, the property manager is outstanding! Thorough, gracious and helpful in every way. Two things make the ranking a 4-star rather than a 5-star. First, you do get some street noise (bring some earplugs if you are a light sleeper). Second, the view is more of the local soccer fields than of the ocean. It does have a solid ocean view, but not direct. I recommend and would stay here again.

Wonderful vacation

Great location with view of the Sea of Cortez and the morning sun. Unit was great for our vacation with the extra space of the roof top patio an added plus. Top Notch Hospitality/Excellent Amenities

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this property located 1 block from Medano Beach. We've been to Cabo in the past and knew we'd be back at some point. Upon our arrival, we were greeted by Hugo who is just wonderful. He welcomed us with a big smile and fresh guacamole! We opted out of the transportation services he offered but I highly recommend going that route if you don't plan on doing too much driving while on your trip. The taxi ride downtown was about $8. It's walkable but we opted for the convenience of dropoff/pickup. All amenities were include at the property including beach towels, pool noodles and more. You really can't go wrong here!

Lovely and comfortable penthouse condo!

We just got back from staying at Puerta Cabos Village - and had a fantastic time. First of all, dealing with Lisa and then Hugo was such a pleasure. Lisa got back to me immediately and was very helpful. She put me in touch with Hugo - who was also there to answer any questions. He met us at the condo to go over everything - and brought the best guacamole that I've ever had! The condo is absolutely gorgeous! Really brand new. So tasteful. Both bathrooms are such high end. And the living space was perfect. Two balconies! We are not really sun bathers, but we did enjoy the jacuzzi on the top deck in the evenings. There were only three of us, but it was so nice to have all the space! And it was so much better than getting two hotel rooms. It is maybe a 15 minute walk to the downtown area - but we actually enjoy being away from all that craziness. It is only a few minute walk to the beach. We found this place called Gardenia Tacos which we actually ate at three times! Nice people, great food and really inexpensive. It was our first time in Cabo. We rented a car, which I would highly recommend. It is so cheap and gives you freedom to really explore. We drove up to La Paz one day and did an awesome trip snorkeling with the whale sharks and sea lions and seeing the island of Espiritu. Gorgeous!

Super condo with great location

We hard a wonderful week at this Condo! The location is super.....easy to get to shopping for groceries (the Walmart across the street is quite nice), a 3-5 minute walk to the main beach and an easy walking distance to the Marina, Luxury Mall and tons of awesome restaurants. Hugo met us upon arrival and was helpful throughout our trip. The condo is nicely equipped with dishes, pans, blender etc......which made our stay comfortable. The beds and bedding were great! The views from the rooftop patio are amazing! I would highly recommend staying here!!

Wonderful penthouse condo walking distance to the beach

My family and I could not be happier with these accommodations. This is a luxurious two bedroom condo with great living spaces inside and out. The condo has a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, two full baths, living room, dining room, and the stated two bedrooms. Additionally there is a patio for outside dining, and a rooftop lounge area with hot tub, lounge chairs and outside furniture. The short walk to the beach, and easy access to Walmart are two things we didn't appreciate before we arrived, but took full advantage of throughout the week. In short, many wonderful features created a great base for our vacation in Cabo San Lucas. We also fully enjoyed and took advantage of the personal concierge. Hugo Ruiz contacted us prior to our arrival making arrangements for airport transportation and begin the coordination for the multitude of activities available to us while we were in town. Hugo also assigned a personal concierge to support us during our stay, and Ivan was able to address all of our needs immediately and effortlessly. In short, this accommodation and the staff that supports it, made our stay in Cabo San Lucas better than we could have imagined. Kudos to Lisa, the owner, to Hugo and Ivan, and everyone involved in making our stay a wonderful vacation experience.

Extremely well furnished, absolutely clean, stunning and well stocked property.

This was my family's first trip to Cabo, but to say that I enjoyed myself is an understatement. Lisa, the property owner, was extremely helpful with the entire booking process. She answered all of my questions, and boy did I have a lot of questions. Her responses were extremely specific and very timely. Even after I had already booked her property she was always available to answer in question that I had about my pending stay. She also provided me with a list of restaurants prior to a stay that were close to the property. Hugo, the property manager, was even more accommodating and amazing throughout our entire stay. There was a driver waiting for us once we arrived in Cabo. We were able to make a trip to Wal Mart before we arrived to the Condo to get groceries for our stay which was really nice. Upon arriving to the condo, Hugo was there with a huge welcoming smile, cold drinks, and the best guacamole I have had in a while. I was pleased with the house because it was well furnished, extremely clean, and well stocked with everything that made our stay comfortable. The property has guards that are duty 24/7. They called for cabs for us daily to get back and forth to the city. The fares were cheap because the property is pretty close to the Marina. Also, if we had a question or concern, Hugo was available with the solution. He helped us navigate the city, book our excursions, and he even made a grocery run for us to get the pancake batter we forgot...lol! Truly, there is nothing that I could complain about because we had the best time during our trip. Booking this spot was so much more comfortable than a hotel. We will be coming back in March and definitely staying with Lisa and Hugo again!!

I fell in love with Cabo when I visited the place in 2012. It reminded me of Santorini, Greece looking from the cruise ship I was on. The decision to purchase this penthouse was an easy one as this condo is so spacious and so beautiful with many high-end finishes.

The sunny weather in Cabo makes for a fabulous escape throughout the year! I currently live in the Washington DC area and have been able to visit Cabo more often in the last few years.

This was a brand new penthouse condo with outstanding finishes and high end furniture. There is a private, large balcony and rooftop terrace with a hot tub, barbecue grill, umbrella, and outdoor seating for you to enjoy the ocean and mountain views.

Cabo has it all---restaurants, bars, shopping, golfing, fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, and whale watching. I hope you'll enjoy this condo as much as my family does.

Concierge service is provided for you to arrange airport transportation, water activities, spa, grocery shopping, bike rental, restaurant reservation, local guide, ... etc.
