Family Lake Getaway

Overall an excellent property. The house layout was great as well as location on the Lake. We fished, tubed, kayaked and enjoyed evening boat rides.

Wonderful week at the Lake

This is our 4th year staying at this beautiful home on Lake Greenwood. With 6 bedrooms, our entire family can stay here and make lifetime memories of relaxing lake-life days. Beautifully furnished with everything needed for a wonderful vacation.

Beautiful property!

We stayed for only 2 nights, but we wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back! The house was very clean and well-maintained. The views of the lake were wonderful, and the owner was very nice and even called to see if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend this property!

We had a GREAT vacation week there

The house, grounds, and dock are very nice. The kitchen is the best equipped of any vacation house we have ever rented. There is a grocery store and restaurant conveniently located and the City of Greenwood is a short drive away. We are considering renting it again next Summer.

Nice

The house is nice, location is great, dock is great, porch area is large with lots of room. The property and house need a little TLC, but nothing major. Communication with Melissa was great. She made sure we had everything we needed. If you are staying with a large group I would recommend bringing extra tp and paper towels, but there is a grocery store really close. We would stay again.

Wedding Stay for Family & Friends & Next day Brunch

Our son was married at Enchanted Acres in Greenwood, SC. The Lakefront Estate allowed us to enjoy the company of 16 Family and Friends for the nights extending from the night before the rehearsal & dinner to the Wedding and Brunch the next day. There were 6 bedrooms and 5-1/2 baths which worked well for our party of 16. The Estate has everything you need from a large family room with tables to play games and a well equipped kitchen. We enjoyed cooking burgers and hot dogs on the charcoal grill and my son’s Best Man enjoyed his time fly fishing in the Lake from the property dock. I would highly recommend the Lakefront Estate for any family celebration or event.

Great stay

We just spent another great week on Lake Greenwood! We had the whole family there--children and grandchildren--and enjoyed being able to spread out in a house big enough to accommodate all of us, plus a great deck with everything we needed including grill and hot tub. With a dock big enough to accommodate boats and jet skis, we spent most of our time on the water. Can't wait until next year!

Another great week

We just completed another great week on Lake Greenwood at the Bridgepoint House. Three generations having a wonderful time eating, laughing, playing games, and enjoying the water. What wonderful memories we made at a house that really meets our needs. We are already looking forward to being there next year!!!

Competition Weekend

Had a group of us that stayed due to a fitness competition. We had an incredible weekend and the ease of being able to put the boat in the water at the house was GREAT! If we are involved with the competition again next year we will definitely see if the house is available.

Wonderful way to ring in the new year!

This is our 3rd or 4th time staying at this house. Truly a great spot for friends and family. Ample room, TONS of kitchen utensils and supplies, some pantry staples, and a great environment. Even though our weather wasn't the best, we still enjoyed the outside porch and the amazing firepit that overlooks a fantastic view of the lake. Host (Renee) is great and quick to respond to needs. Highly recommend!

Perfect Spot for a Family Gathering

The location and the view are the most spectacular things about this house, but the house itself was clean and very comfortable. I originally booked it for our extended family to stay while in the area for my mother’s memorial. The house is spacious and having bedrooms on all three floors allowed people to spread out and have privacy while also being able to gather together in the great room or on the deck. The added benefit was that the outside space was perfect to hold a luncheon with my mother’s siblings and cousins who live in the area. It was a beautiful place to gather and share memories. I would definitely rent this place again or recommend it to anyone wanted to visit with a larger group.

Great location with a very nice house

6 very nicely furnished bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. The gazebo was a great addition to the porch for those morning cups of coffee. Kitchen is supplied more than my own at home!! Everything was nice and clean. Plenty of parking for everyone that stayed and we even had three vehicles with boat trailers. Plus, more than enough room at the dock for all three boats.

Another successful family reunion

Our family absolutely loves this home & location on Lake Greenwood for our reunions. This was our third time renting this property, and we're already looking forward to our next visit. There's plenty of room at the house, we loved the updates done to the interior and exterior (especially the cover & new furniture on the porch!) and the communication when we need anything has always been timely and professional. Mediocre for the money.

Several things broken ( door knobs,faucet handles missing, and no additional sheets and blankets ) and missing and dirty sheets on fold out couch/bed. Not changed. Had to pile our own trash because the 5 cans were full so for the first 4 days we had to stack our trash and then move it later during the week. It’s just an ok place. Sorry won’t be returning.

Gorgeous home with an amazing view!

My wife and I just got married here last weekend and everything was perfect! Renee was very helpful. It had rained a lot the day before we arrived and the fire pit was holding water. But we called Renee and she had someone come out immediately and drain it for us. The lakeside fire pit is really nice--we set up a s'mores bar instead of having a wedding cake and it was a big hit. Each morning we woke up and had some coffee on the huge deck overlooking the lake where we watched the ducks, geese, birds, etc. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice relaxing getaway.

Christmas Trip

The property was amazingly beautiful and relaxing! I traveled here with my family for our annual Christmas trip and we had a great time! The property was clean and spacious (We had a group of 10 people). The surrounding neighborhood was quiet and the people/neighbors were nice when we saw them. The arcade gaming system kept the kids and adults busy with friendly competitions the whole trip. It was a very easy check in/out as all of the instructions were very clear. We did not have to communicate with the property manager at all because everything went well, but she did check in on us to ensure everything was going smoothly for us. I'd definitely recommend to others and would stay again...maybe in the summer to be able to do more water/lake activities! 10/10 from us! Thank you!

we had a great time

Our recent trip was my family's second time renting at this property for our reunion. We rented here again because we knew the house would be large enough to accommodate us all! Just like last time, it was very clean upon arrival, and we were able to make use of the boat ramp and dock again, which was perfect. We even noticed some upgrades to the house, including the downstairs/basement couch, and thought they looked good. Really just 2 cosmetic things to note - couldn't get the ice maker in the fridge to work, and one of the switches (igniters?) on the grill wasn't working, but we were still able to use it. We had a wonderful time, and are grateful we were able to stay here again. Many thanks to Renee for letting us use your home!

Awesome Location/Great Space

We planned a family reunion here prior to my husband deploying for 10 months. This home fit us perfectly and provided all we needed for a fun four days. The amount of bedrooms accommodated our four couples and 6 children perfectly. The other members of his family stayed elsewhere but could come over to hang with us during the day since had better outdoor space. Tons of parking space, private boat slip which was great for two boats we brought, large oversized outdoor deck, huge yard, shallow swimming area off dock were just a few of the many features that worked extremely well for our group size. We had infants, toddlers, young children all the way up to his 90-year-old grandmother and all could enjoy it. The VIEW! It was situated on a point so you get over 180-degree view. Kitchen is well-stocked, grill was perfect and big for cooking for a large group, beds were SUPER comfy ... easy check in and out and very communicative owner (she even came and grabbed trash left in the outdoor bins from the prior group). We couldn’t say enough good things about the entire experience and weekend. We have memories that’ll last a lifetime! Thank you, Renee!

A beautiful lakehouse!

The description of the property was 100% correct, absolutely beautiful location on the lake, gorgeous sunrises and sunsets. The house is located at end of cul-de-sac and offers a very panoramic view of Lake Greenwood. Accommodations for the 8 of us was fabulous. Plenty of room on the deck for entertaining and eating. Dining area in house is a bit cramped. Of all, we have a great time. PROS: Gorgeous views, boat dock, fire pit was nice, hot tub was great once we figured how to use it. Beds were comfortable, plenty of hot water and clean bathrooms. Lots of dishes and pots and pans to cook large quantities of food. CONS: The dishwasher was left full of clean dishes from last renters. We should not have had to clean out dishwasher. Bottom basket is ready for new wheels. Kept falling off. The backyard was brown, no rain. However, there were some left beer cans/bottles, trash in the bushes. The BOSE lifestyle stereo system would not turn on. Even when we put batteries in remote. The front porch was full of spiders webs and bugs--called and the owners took care of it. At 4pm on Sat. we were preparing a feast for 12 and discovered the wall oven did not work. There was no use in calling at that time as a repairman would not arrived till Mon. We made use of the gas grill (after thoroughly cleaning it) as an oven to cook part of our meal. The jacuzzi in the south king suite did not work at all. My sister was looking forward to a nice bath after all the company left only find it not working. Recommendations: I have rented vacation homes numerous time and most were very nice and considerate of the people who rent them. I would send out a list to all renters letting them know what to bring with them, ie, more trash bags (1 was provided), paper towels (we brought some), and kitchen towels. There were none to dry dishes with and only one pot holder. Check out was fine. We followed the short instructions to close up. Another suggestion would be to have a list of places to eat, explore, etc. in the area. Some brochures from the Chamber of Commerce would be helpful. We would have called on the items that did not work but decided not to cramp up our time with repairmen. All in all it was a great experience and we would return in the future.

Excellent Location, Comfortable Home

Overall we had an excellent time and enjoyed this property with a few suggestions. The description is accurate and we were very comfortable. We were a group of several families and enjoyed having three levels to spread out along with terrific outdoor spaces to enjoy. Pros: comfortable beds and pillows, nicely furnished, well stocked kitchen, modern appliances, excellent bed and bath linens, large dock with a private boat ramp, great location, deep water, huge deck with room for lounge furniture, dining tables, and a hot tub with room to spare! And an amazing grill we used almost daily! Stellar communication with the owner with excellent attention and response time. Thank you! Suggestions: This is a higher priced rental compared to others on this lake due in part to its size: 6 beds and 4 baths. For the size, the indoor dining space is quite small and seats 6 at the table and 2 at the counter. Instead we ate most of our meals on the deck, but we are so glad we brought our own 10x10 tent because there is no shade during most of the day. One of the two outdoor tables has tiles replaced that don’t fit properly and a broken leg repaired with zip ties that were insufficient. It wasn’t safe to use and needs to be thrown away and replaced. A few areas inside could use attention such as sticky stair handrails, dusty ceiling fans, and a few lightbulbs need replacing. A book with house information would be helpful too (instructions for the TV, certain appliances, hot tub, etc. restaurants, things to do). These are all minor things that would enhance the property and keep in line with the luxury pricing. Two other personal notes based on our preferences, but helpful info for others: 1. Cathedral ceilings plus tile flooring in the first floor living areas and open hallway/balcony from second floor means sound carries upstairs like a megaphone. Be mindful if you have kids with early bedtimes or light sleepers. 2. Upstairs king room will have you up with the sun because the entire wall of windows has no covering for night time. Upstairs queen bedroom has light colored curtains or none at all on the arched window. And first floor master has window coverings on everything but the door out to the deck which is where the sun rises this time of year. For us this meant most of the house was up with the sun by 6 am! We all adjusted to it by the second day and considered it that much more time to enjoy the property. It just may not be for everyone!

It was a beautiful home! It was clean and the view of the lake was amazing! It was nice and quiet. We didn’t realize that you had lawn care and power washing of the house done while we were there, this interrupted the children’s nap, but otherwise a great stay.

Another excellent stay

My family rented this house for the fourth time for our reunion. It remains a wonderful house, perfectly sized for our group. We love staying on Lake Greenwood, and we love being able to stow the boat at the dock in back! We also like the home's convenient location to Break on the Lake and grocery store KJ's. My only suggestion would be maybe cutting back some of the palms/grass. Out back it's growing into the boat ramp, and a little bit in to the sidewalk as well. But that's it, so very minor stuff. I think our decision to rent here multiple times should speak for itself. :) Highly recommend!

Lucas Family Vacation

We absolutely loved the lake front house. Very spacious and comfortable. We had 10 adults and 2 babies under the age of 2. Loved the deck. Plenty of room for everyone to be together and still have some privacy when needed. We bought a small blow up pool for the kids to splash in on the deck while the adults were relaxing. Loved the opportunity to use the kayaks that were already on the property. We also rental a pontoon boat and Sea-doo from Skippers on the Lake Marina. (Would recommend greatly, Troy was very helpful with those rentals!) The kitchen was fantastic. They had plenty of cooking utensils and cookware. Hot tub was fabulous! Plenty of places for shopping and dining out. The lake itself was very clean without any debris to enjoy your boating fun. If I had to suggest anything, it would only be the need for gas grill for cooking out. They do have a nice huge charcoal grill. Definitely giving this place all 5 stars! Thanks for sharing your space with us!
