Lake Buchanan Lodge is a rustic lodge in the heart of the Texas hill country on Lake Buchanan. Lake Buchanan Lodge is built from 170 year old hand hewn beams moved from Wisconsin. This vacation rental comes equipped with a fully loaded kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms with queen beds, and 2 upstairs lofts that sleeps 4 in each loft. 16 guests total. Optional pavilion is available for weddings, reunions and events. Relax at this beautiful house on the covered porch, swim in the lake, or fish on the banks. Hike the nature trails, rent kayaks or canoes to complete your stay at this beautiful vacation home. This property also has a boat dock to tie up your boats and a boat ramp has been added in 2021. A separate laundry room was built for tenants convenience. When the lake is low, bring your 4 wheelers and cruise the sand dunes' miles of trails.
A fishing guide is available at an extra cost. He can pick you up right from the property.

Next door there is now a bar called Hooks. Very relaxing outdoor venue with lots of fun and games for the family.

The lodge is owned by Dave and Lou Seideman. We live in Austin during the week and out at the lake on most weekends.
Dave is a musician and a booking agent and Lou works for Dept of public safety. We have 3 kids, all no longer at home. We enjoy camping and outdoors.

Why they chose this property
Lake Buchanan Lodge is located on the banks of Lake Buchanan. It's on 8 acres, so plenty of room for the kids to roam around on. The Lodge sleeps 8 for a base fee and a total 16 in beds for 25 per head a night extra, It's great for family Reunions.
What makes this property unique
It has a play scape for the kids. Horse shoes,washer pits, volley ball ,teather ball, BBQ pits, gas grills, picnic tables and 8 acres of land to run around on. Lots of wildlife seen from the huge porch. Lots of sights to see and do in the hill country and lake. There are 85 bird houses on the property, bird feeders all over the place and deer in abundance.
