Susan and Jeff were great hosts. Their space felt like staying with family. Great views in a lovely neighborhood. There is a nice little children's park right around the corner. Plus there is access to a long stairwell that leads to the downtown area (if can handle a climb).

It was a great size for our group and a good location! A little musty smell when we arrived, but not noticeable after we got settled in. Having off street parking was a plus! And the peekaboo river views were beautiful!

A hidden gem

Absolutely fantastic stay at the "Roomy Hideaway" The location is perfect, just a short stroll to downtown where you can enjoy the best of Hood River's dining, shopping, and entertainment. The accommodation itself is spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, offering all the comforts of home. The host was incredibly attentive and responsive, ensuring our stay was seamless. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking to explore Hood River!

We felt the place was "tired" and needs updating. Sheets were frayed, towels had holes, and pading under one rug was half missing.Hood river is a great area. Would have been nice to have an info book.

Short Hood River Stay

This was the right price and location for our quick one night stay. If planning to walk to downtown, it’s a decent elevation change. We couldn’t quite figure out the heating system, so the rooms were much warmer than we’re used to. The walkway to the apartment could use some sprucing up, a little landscaping would go a long way.

Susan and Jeff were fantastic hosts. Everything was extremely close. We travel for work and we home school. it was great location for my family. Library, playground all within walking distance. Grocery shopping within minutes. Highly recommend.
