Mike is a very nice guy and very responsive. Entry was easy because he has a good system. Bathrooms, carpets and sheets were clean. This is inner city Winnipeg. I used to live there so I expected to hear some night life over the weekend. The location is walkable to food and Safeway. All in all it was good.
The first apoearance was jaded as the porch was dirty and had not been cleaned. This area is noisy with traffic everywhere and road construction over the wntire city. This condo has steep stairs and all baths and bedrooms are on the second floor. More towels need to be provided and never did find a face clorh! Kitckwn well equipp3d. Livingroom sofa very uncomfortable. Dining room chairs low to sit on. Parking a hassle!

To address these issues:
The porch did have leaves on it however it is Winnipeg entering into fall. I had cleared the leaves and more came down. The patio cushions are kept inside so if guests do want to use the patio, I do feel they can place the cushions without having to tidy up.
It is a downtown area so I can't guarantee quiet evenings but I do supply earplugs. I am unable to control construction over the entire city. I have had guests that enjoy the fact the bedrooms are on a separate floor from the living room and kitchen.
I felt bad that Karen and her husband were unaware there are stairs in the unit. I have updated the listing to say that, however they are standard height, there is a handrail, and half the stairs are broader than usual steps.
Karen told me on the first night they were disturbed by the one bath towel and one hand towel I set out. I let them know there are lots of towels of all sizes in the closet. Not clear how they did not find them. I haven't had complaints about the sofa or dining room chairs but I will pay attention to what other guests say, if it is an issue I'm happy to replace them.
The parking I do feel is invalid. When Karen arrived she insisted there was no free street parking, despite her being in a free spot at the time. They continued to park on the street, directly in front of the unit, for the entire stay. I'm not clear how parking could have been any less of a hassle for them. I spoke to her husband before they checked out and he seemed happy with the stay.
