Located in a picturesque part of historic Downtown, you'll love being a part of this community when you book this fantastic vacation home. Originally a Federal style, the Bean house has undergone changes that make it more ornate. A wooden shipbuilder, Mr. Holly Bean brought his craft to the Bean House, and the place has been modernized and feels like the inside of a boat with many nooks and crannies to relax, write, read, or daydream. Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior and a cozy atmosphere throughout the well-appointed space. Stream your favorite movies on the large TV while the group's chef prepares delicious delights in the kitchenette, equipped with a mini-fridge, stovetop oven range, microwave, toaster oven, and coffee maker. Feel the whimsy throughout the space and it's uniqueness brimming through every piece of furniture and decor. Sip your morning coffee on the patio or balcony and listen to Downtown wake up.
During the summer months, the amphitheater across the street hosts many events, from yoga and sound baths to local theater productions and musical events. Also, check in with the Camden Opera House for fun shows. The area is great for outdoor activities and there are many fine restaurants. The Camden Snow Bowl activates the ski lifts around Halloween, which is a favorite local activity, and the trees in the fall are amazing. In the winter months, people enjoy skiing and ice skating in the area.
