Leucadia Hideaway - whole home

Welcome to Leucadia! Set back in a peaceful neighborhood 10 minutes walking distance from Moonlight beach, downtown Encinitas, and tons of great restaurants along the 101.

Get the best of North County San Diego living in this cute 3 bed/2 bath house with EV hookup, an e-bike, backyard fire pit, and al fresco dining out front. Just as magical at night with a sweet Jasmine breeze and 2 double egg basket chairs - no need to close the doors for bugs. Boogie boards and beach gear here for use.
The space
I love to cook and host - the kitchen is stocked with lots of platters, cookware, and cooking tools in the kitchen island. There's an additional fridge in the garage and a dorm fridge in the backyard for drinks.

The backyard has an outdoor shower which you are welcome to use, it has plenty of hot water and is great for washing off after the beach. Please as best you can wash off with either the shower or hose in the back before entering the home if you've gone to the beach.

I have a lovely garden that's there for you to enjoy. There are 3 avocado trees, 2 fig trees, 2 types of oranges, a Meyer lemon tree behind the sound wall, golden raspberries, blackberries, and passion fruit vines around the property which you are more than welcome to pick and enjoy! I also have planted herbs which you can pick.

If you're heading to the beach, there are plenty of towels, 2 Tommy Bahama beach chairs, bocce ball, umbrellas, 2 boogie boards, and a wave storm surf board for use. There are also fast drying Turkish towels for your beach getaway.
Guest access
You'll have access to the entire house, patio, and backyard during your stay. Please enjoy any of the fruit or veggies that are ripe and available for picking.
Other things to note
Possible highway noise: the 5 is visible from the backyard and some construction is happening at night. Each room has an air filter that has fan features for white noise. When the house is closed up it's relatively quiet but know that when the windows/doors are open there will be some static noise from the highway. The backyard also is a little louder but has a sound wall to stifle some of the noise. The front yard is quieter but you may hear my neighbors up above and their kids playing.

Why they chose this property

The house is a 12 minute walk to Moonlight Beach, a popular spot in Encinitas. The neighborhood is quiet and has a park near the elementary school, where the Leucadia Farmer's Market is hosted on Sunday's from 10am-2pm.

What makes this property unique

Lots of fruit trees on the property. It's tucked away for families and has lots of beach gear as well as an outdoor shower for washing up after any beach adventures. EV charging is available for Teslas.
