The main floor offers a delightful culinary haven with a large kitchen featuring a flat-top stove and cookbooks, alongside a dining room seating 10 and a window bench. Perfect family getaway

We stayed here with our adult children and one grandchild. There was plenty of space to spread out if needed, but also big enough table and couches to all be together as well. The hot tub was great and it’s quick walk to the beach. Manzanita is a perfect town to visit as well.

Charming and spacious

Our friends group has been looking for a place we can return to again and again and we found it in this home. This is a clean and comfortable home with all the amenities that were advertised. We love that it is dog friendly even though we didn’t bring any furry friends on this trip.

Amazing Coast getaway

Our group of 6 adults loved Bella Mar. The house was spotless, very comfortable for everyone. Puzzles galore! We brought our dogs and it was so nice having sheets and towels for them. Hot tub was great, clean and hot! Perfect location for sunrise and sunset walks on the beach. Highly recommend and will absolutely stay at this house again. great little getaway

I love the quiet neighborhood and the proximity to the beach. This is our 2nd time staying here and will probably do so again. The kitchen is well appointed with cooking items which is great because we love to cook and restaurants here are few. The only downside is the volkswagon size potholes on Pelican Ln. They are no bueno I advise parking on the side.

We had plenty of space and we loved the location; quick walk to the beach, close to town, and lots of other places to explore. We enjoyed the hot tub daily and even had a fire in the fireplace on chilly evenings. We cooked many meals in the kitchen and enjoyed the lovely dining space. They even had the best recommendations. Our whole family enjoyed crabbing and we hiked to short sands beach which was amazing. If we lived closer we would be returning frequently. My husband loved it so much he wanted to track down the owner and make an offer. If you are looking for a cozy beach cottage with lots of sleeping space look no further!

Great place to stay in Manzanita

Stayed at this house for 2 nights with a group of friends. The house and hot tub were warm upon arrival. The house was as shown in the pictures, clean and comfortable. There are tons of puzzles in the house which was fun. There was wood provided for the fireplace. We ran out of dishwasher soap and they brought more over to us very quickly. The house is 2 blocks from the beach, and an easy drive to many hiking and look out points. Markets and cafes in Manzanita are a 5 minute drive or 20-25 minute walk. No complaints. I would recommend others to stay here.

We had an excellent stay. The house is in a great location and is well laid out for a family or group. The beds are very comfortable and the water pressure is great. There were a few relatively minor things that could be easily improved - not significant, but annoying enough for a week's stay that we are rating four stars instead of five:- Sofa slipcovers were quite dirty with dog fur/smell (not ours - we did not travel with pets) and could use a deep cleaning- There is not a functional broom or dustpan - there is an old broom, but it's worn down and doesn't brush well, so we weren't really able to sweep up during our stay.- All of the dishes and glassware are breakable glass/ceramic. It would be great to have some non-breakable cups available for kids & general use in a house with stone floors- The upstairs bathrooms have small wobbly side tables with limited space for personal items. Our toothbrushes fell on the floor multiple times. Larger/more stable cabinets with counter space (or wall shelves) would be a huge improvement in functionality and convenience.- The tub drain does not fully seal in the master bath- Nightstand tables are tiny and wobbly with no space to put anything. Larger tables with room for a book and a glass of water would be great.

Lovely stay at Bella Mar!

We had a fantastic stay at Bella Mar over the new years holiday. We love the Oregon beach, even during the winter, and really enjoyed the amenities at this home. It was a short two block walk to the beach and there were many paved trails near the home for some neighborhood walks as well. This home easily accommodated our small group and we easily could have shared with another family. We also loved having our dog with us and the supplied dog sheets to help protect the furniture. The mud room at the entrance of the home was super helpful to drop all our boots and coats and keep the sand in its proper place. The kitchen is FULLY stocked. It was so nice to stay somewhere where we didn’t need to do dishes at every meal and ration cups and plates. We had brought some things for baking but easily could have used what was in this kitchen and not brought anything. The hot tub was also perfect. Nothing better than a hot tub dip when it’s chilly outside and the supplied cotton robes were great for this purpose. I liked that the tub was super clean and not too chemical smelling. Plenty of extra blankets in the closets and linens as needed which is nice, I hate having to reach out to the property manager mid stay when you need stuff, I would recommend a linen update and did provide this feedback to the property manager after my stay but it’s nothing that was super negative, just constructive feedback. Overall, can’t wait to visit again!

It is a quiet area--in the direction opposite the ocean and across the street is Nehalem Bay State Park. This was the first time we visited with our dog and greatly appreciated the dog-friendly welcoming touches (sheet for the couch) that made it easy to keep the home clean for the next family. We have stayed here for @20 years; our only wish is that someday the powers-at-be pave the road in front of the house--beware of the potholes!
