About this property

Contemporary flat with period features in the Heart of Marylebone

possibly the ultimate Marylebone location in the heart of the famed shops and restaurants of this favourite part of London's West End . This one bedroom apartment is elegant in style almost Parisienne with 5 sets of french windows 3 onto stone balconies with great south and west views down James St and Wigmore St . The apartment is well fitted out as my own London home and with many luxurious extras available for you to use .The apartment is on the 2nd floor (USA 3rd ) and has a passenger lift and video security . (NB the lift stops between floors so there are a few steps as well )This is the most perfect base and retreat from which to explore all london has to offer . Selfridges is a 2 minute walk. Please note this flat is located in the heart of Marylebone’s centre so there will be some minor related City noise from the bustling reataurants and stores nearby . The apartment does offer a welcoming and comfortable haven away from this though . The wifi is provided by Sky Premium and there is a printer available . The 50plus inch flat screen smart tv has Sky , Netflix, Amazon and Apple tv .

A 14 nights stay in London
Pros •The process to obtain the keys is very easy. •The apartment benefits from a great location, close to many services: grocery store, shops, main streets, subway (4 minutes walk from Bond Street station). •Very well-equipped apartment, with washing machine. tumble dryer, dishwasher. •Beautiful shower and bathroom, large living room with huge TV, good internet service. •Very comfortable bed. •Clean and bright apartment. •Very friendly and helpful owner •The neighbors inside the building are very quiet. Cons •The apartment is located on a very busy street corner. It's very noisy late at night: honking cars, police sirens, ambulance sirens, motorcycles (car and motorcycle owners make their engines roar). The bedroom window is not soundproof – (bring earplugs). The bedroom window also needs a curtain to block outside street lighting. Recommendation to the owner: Install an interior window to soundproof the bedroom and curtains. •The elevator is not on the same floor. This could pose a problem for people with reduced mobility. Recommendation to the owner: Please mention before renting. •The apartment lacks space to store guests' luggage and personal effects. Recommendation to the owner: Remove some personal belongings, leaving more space for guests.

This is my personal home when I am staying in London . I mainly live in S.W.France now and also like to travel. I have always loved travel and my wife and I really feel we know what people are looking for when they rent away from their own home. The apartment offers many conveniences not readily found in a hotel room or a typical rental apartment. The flat is well equipped with culinery equipment and products, full media, drinks cabinet coffee table books and all are available for guest use . I love the thought of people from all over the world using and enjoying my apartment and all the Marylebone has to offer .

Why they chose this property

The apartment is set in bustling part of Marylebone village with its huge array of cosmopolitan cafes, restaurants and fine dining. The retail on offer is amongst the finest of the world and Selfridges international department store is moments away. for tranquility, beauty and exercise there are two of the finest Royal parks; Regents and Hyde less than 10 minutes walk. If you want culture, on a summer evening you can walk to the opera, theatre, museums and galleries otherwise a short taxi or tube ride away There is no area in London that can offer in the way that Marylebone does.

What makes this property unique

1) the location 2) the architecture with high ceilings , French windows and ornate balconies 3) its styling and quality 4) well equipped
