Very clean cabin; perfect size - with 2 bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and the loft was a fun surprise for the kids to explore. The cabins are spaced out so you feel like you’re alone with nature. Serene surroundings and so peaceful- loved the outdoor space - with the fire ring. Highly recommend!

Great stay

My family has stayed in this cabin twice now, and both stays were perfect. Clean and nice cabin in a great peaceful location near Mammoth Cave National Park.

Very clean property Had everything we needed. Beds comfortable. Shower hot.We stayed during an unusually hot week and one bedroom stayed noticably cooler than other but black out shades and fan helped. Several bigger grocery stores within half an hour (smaller stores with less produce, dairy choices within 20 mins). Only real issue was the wasps that liked to hang out by the doors but it's in the country - that's going to happen.Probably took 45 mins to get to Bowling Green if you have things you want to do there. My adult son enjoyed fishing in the ponds and the cave although the way down to cave and back up is work.We did the Lost River cave, Mammoth Cave (Gothic tour is easiest), Kentucky Down Under zoo ( RENT THE GOLF CART!), and the Amish bakery and restaurant in front of zoo. Much better selection of Amish baked goods at the restaurant bakery than the DetwilersAmish store.Don't miss Blue Holler if you like German food- it is excellent. We enjoyed our long weekend. Thank you!

We loved our stay! The property is gorgeous! We loved walking the trail, fishing in the ponds/lake. The cabin was PERFECT! As my four year said "I don't want to leave this cabin, it's my favorite!" We want to come back

Cute Cabin

We had a great time staying at this sweet little cabin at Mammoth Cabin. It was a great fit for our family of four! Everything was clean and our kids loved the little loft area.

Beautiful setting

Great "log cabin" with all of the modern amenities for a stay near Mammoth Cave. The big porch offers a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. And the hosts are incredibly responsive to any questions. The waterfall/cave on the property are spectacular. Be prepared though, the rest of the hike has some serious elevation changes.

Perfect in every way!

My family of five had the best time at this cabin. It was the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed at and had the most accommodating hosts ever. Everything from the private fishing ponds to the serene sunsets makes this place special in so many ways! Perfect!

Tucked away gem

This was so much better than we anticipated! All needs were thought of, they really have gone above and beyond to make the stay as easy as possible. The property is just so cool, the waterfall and cave with arrowhead hunting was everyone's favorite part. We will definitwly be back!

Outdoor Wonder

Property was better than expected. Every detail was thought through from the cabin set up to the availability of kayaks and bass boats to hiking trails and on site swimming, fishing, and waterfalls. Amazing family vacation in complete peace and quiet but close enough to major attractions and Bowling Green. Can’t wait to plan a visit with more friends!

Perfect getaway

Wonderful time relaxing on the back deck looking out over the rolling fields. Just what I needed. Our rescue dog loved the outdoors and the porch. Walk to the cave was very nice. Plan on more hiking and kayaking next time. Very enjoyable time.

Outdoor Paradise

Everything about this location was perfectly thought through. Having the various lakes for swimming and fishing was a hit with our family. The owner is very responsive and accommodating to anything requested. He has a wonderful trail system with waterfall and bride on site. Very peaceful but close to all the major attractions. Highly recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing outdoor getaway!

Gem in the South

Such a gem in the rural area of KY that was just as the website described for a family-friendly getaway! Perfect for visiting Mammoth Cave National Park by day and watching the sunset from the back porch at night. Our teen and younger son enjoyed the lake on property for swimming and fishing. A big bonus that we could bring our four-legged fur baby along also. Thank you for having us!

Cozy cabin stay

A nice little property to stay at after a pieceful drive through winding roads, farms and a few horse and buggies. We stayed at cabin 1, if i were to book again, id have chosen any of the other cabins, overlookomg the larger water feature. That said, it was clean and pieceful. We got to see some turkeys, cows, and a hawk right from the porch. Our dog loved it! Would recommend checking out the "Blue Holler", it was extreamly close and was probably the best food we had on our stay.

Extra attention to detail

This property is very nice. Away from everything. On a nicely kept farm. The owners let the renters hike their property and share in the beautiful pictures the landscape has to offer. My kids were extatic to find arrowheads, that the owners took the time and $ to place on their property for an extra fun time. Cows were fun to watch and a friendly sheep dog kept us laughing. Thank you

Lovely spot, private, clean cabin-45 minute drive to Mammoth

We loved the secluded location and big porch overlooking a lake. Cabin was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The only two small complaints; It's not really close to Mammoth cave as suggested in the ad. It's 12 miles as the crow flies but a 45 minute drive. That's on me for not checking the drive time, and the lovely secluded spot made up for it. There is also no big table for a group to gather around, but we were all able to sit on the big porch to talk and enjoy the view. Very positive overall!
